9: New challenge

Claire's p.o.v.

I cried.  I couldn't do anything else when I saw what my Little girl running away from Sebastian's room with her eyes full of tears.  After I had a little talk, well argued was more like it, with Jonas about some rouge sightings just outside our border I came across Priscilla.  She smiled and told me that she wanted to visit Sebastian before going to bed.  I didn't look behind her reason, but when she passed me by I smelled a strange scent coming from her.  Maybe it was just my imagination.  But when I saw Soraya crying and running towards her own room I knew something happened that she never wanted to see.  I made my way to the twins bedroom, knocked and entered.

''Boys I think Soraya needs you.  I think she has encountered Sebastian in a moment she didn't want to see.''  The boys didn't hesitate for a moment and rushed past me in a blink of an eye.  But one thing was for sure.  Something was wrong with that Priscilla girl and her brother and I'm going to find out what.

When I went to my own room I heard a voice.  ''Claire'' it was manly and the shivers it gave me let me already know who it was.  Soraya's father.  So I went downstairs to the basement.  It was the only place we could talk in private.  When I reached it he was already there.

Hair as black as the night, Eyes almost just as black with a little red dot in the middle and a tan skin color, he wasn't well build just as my own mate but he has some abs underneath his expensive suit.

He had his arms crossed over his chest and looked a little angry.  I didn't have to ask what was wrong, he could feel Soraya's emotions where ever he was.  ''She was sad,,, no scratch that,, she was Broken.  What the hell happened?''

I sighed ''Sebastian has found his mate.  Though he didn't want that girl but only Soraya, Jonas makes Sebastian face his responsibility's.  Also I smell something strange coming from her and her brother who are staying here.''  He placed his hand over his mouth, clearly processing what I just said.  ''Then I have a good distraction for her until everything settles it self.  There are a few wolves who are in dire need for someone to save them.  You ever heard about a sparkle wolf?''  He asked and raised an eyebrow.  Yes I heard about them, they are rare just as my own kind is.  A sparkle wolf is known for their sweet looks, singing and acting talents and are very caring.  I nodded ''Yes I heard about them, but what has this to do with Soraya.''

He turned around, his back facing me.  ''Well you knew that as a daughter of mine she would have a bigger destiny then what she is now.  She needs to stand up for them, save them and give them a save place to life again.''  I sighed.  Would she even be ready for that but before I could ask him that he beat me to it.  ''She is more than ready, she was against unfair treatments when she was even little and that trait has grown along with her age. I don't have any doubt that she can do this''  Well if he is certain about her handling this then so am I.  He knows these traits and her powers better than I do.

He told me before he impregnated me that our child was a person meant for great achievements.  After his explanation with a few more details he was gone.  Now I need to convince my little girl to do just this.  I really hope that this is what she needs.

Soraya's p.o.v.

The next morning when I woke up I took a shower to freshen up a little bit.  When I looked in the mirror I saw my eyes were puffy and all red.  The growing distance between me and Sebastian made it already clear that things were going to chance between me and him but I was a fool to still stay with him.  After that kiss I witnessed I knew that I had to let him go.  f**k did that thought hurt but it would be for the best.  After I freshed myself up and put some clothes on I made my way downstairs.

But before I could reach the dining room for some breakfast my mother popped up in my head.  {Sweetheart could you please come to the office?  I need to talk to you and the twins about something.}

I wonder what she needs to talk about.  { coming } I linked back and made my way to the office.  The twins were already there sitting in one of the office sofa's while my mother sits in a armchair.  Mother smiled at me and stood up.  She hugged me before sitting down again.  ''Sweetheart I'm glad to see you freshed up and fast responsive this morning.''  Guess she knows what happened.  I took my place on the other arm chair.  ''It's okay mom, I knew that this was coming.  I just needed a hard reminder about it.''

My mother nodded at that and took a more serious look.  ''I understand that sweetie but that doesn't change your feelings.  But maybe I have a good distraction for you for the time being.  I was approached by your father yesterday and he was certain that you were ready for what your real destiny in life is going to be.  You need to find mistreated wolves and give them a safe place to life again.  These wolves are mostly gifted wolves just like me, Jack and Jake.  Your ability to find different kind of wolves is just for this kind of missions as you could say.  You need to find them, save them and take them back with you or let them be free again.''

Uhm, yeah okay.  I really didn't expect this coming up.  Letting my head fall a little to the side I asked more.  ''But where would they stay?  And why did you ask the twins to come here as well?''  She smiled at me as if she already knew I was going to ask this.  ''The twins are going with you so you wouldn't be alone and have more safety around you.  This mission is just for you, but you could see them as your left and right hand.  We already talked about this before you came here, and they immediately agreed with this.  You trained so hard as long as I can remember.  As for a place to bring them, Jonas and I already talked about that.  When we were in war with the rouges, Jonas constructed a complete new territory just outside the royal borders.  It's full of cabins and an sort of pack house as well.  He build that so some packs who lost their homes could stay there for the time being.  But it's empty now and no one used it in many years.  And if you and the twins want, you can live there as well so that you can provide and be there for those other wolves but still have the safety from the royal pack.''

Of course Jonas would agree to that.  Me living there would mean that I didn't have to come face to face with Sebastian.  But it makes sense as well and maybe it would gave me some peace for my mind to be away from this torture to see Sebastian all cozy with his mate.  Guess me and the twins are going on a mission.  ''Okay tell me all we need to know''  I said to my mother with a smirk on my face.  She giggled and told us different definitions about wolves with gifts and even gave me a hand written book so I could have a reminder on our way.

She told us that we were needed in Detroit so we packed our bags and made our way outside. But before I could step even one foot out Sebastian called from behind me.  I turned around to face him.  He had an pleaded look on his face as if he regret what he did.  It still didn't change my mind about the fact that I had to let him go though.  ''Baby girl please, please don't go.  I need you, I can't life in this place without you being here.''

But I shook my head.  ''I'm sorry big brother, but some things are more important than us.  You made that perfectly clear yesterday.''  His mouth fell wide open.  And with that I turned around and left, leaving this f****d up place behind me and find my real place in this world.

After a few days of staying with the royal pack I bought my own car, my personal favorite, the Bugatti Veyron super sport and of course in red and black.  I also had my own super sport bike but seeing that we have a long trip ahead of us that wouldn't be sufficient at all.  The backseat of my car hadn't really much space so the twins took their own car with them.  But to keep it sociable, we turned our blue tooths on and talked the whole way.  It hurt me to be away from Sebastian but I knew that this was only for the better.  We stopped on our way one time to have some eye rest and stuff ourselves full so we where prepared for when we arrive.

It was a long trip but we finally made it in 2 days time.  I booked a 2 rooms in a hotel with my new platinum card my mother gave me and rested up before sniffling around to look for some clues.  When we I freshed myself up a little bit I joined the twins at the bar from the hotel.  ''So you guys ready for this?''  I asked with my hands at both sides and one eyebrow raised.  Jack looked at me and raised his eyebrow in return.  ''Girl what do you take me for, I was born ready.''

Of course he is ready.

Jack isn't one to walk away from me when I need them.  Jake came standing beside me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders.  ''So where do we start?''  He asked.  ''Well places to snoop for information are mostly at bars so I think that that would be a great start''  The both agreed with a nod.  After we walked around and visited different kind of pub's and bars we found ourselves in an little eerie bar.  The smell was like rotten fish and sweaty socks and it made my stomach turn.  But when we walked a little further to sit down in a booth I felt an sparkle creeping up my arms at my left side.  It immediately gave me the hint I was looking for.  Jake mind linked me { Damn it's full of wolves here. And I think they're not happy with our visit.}  I smirked { Well lucky for you I sensed our little wolf in need}

We took our seats.  I sat in a booth facing the entrance door but I could also clearly see a few boots full of other wolves.  And the booth across the room was seated with that particularly wolf I was looking for.  She had Brown wavy hair, Green sparkling eyes and was small compared to the wolves in her company.  If I was a male wolf I would found her hot even.  The wolf next to her gave off an Beta aura and he had an ugly scar running from his eyebrow till his chin.  The beta looked at me a few times before standing up and making his way towards me.

I mind linked the boys before he approached.  { okay boys, the beta who is with the sparkle wolf is coming this way.  We are on tour and just passing by.  But I need to find out more information so play along okay?}  They both nodded and got both to their own conversation when the wolf reached our booth.

He smirked down at me.  ''So what's a beautiful wolf like you doing in a bar like this huh?''  I gave him a smirk of my own.  ''Just passing by, would that be a problem?'' I raised my eyebrow when I said that.

He placed his hands in the table that stood between me and the twins.  Facing me he licked his lips.  ''Oh no problem at all, but maybe I can show you around a little more if you would like?''

No problem at all, just what I need, I thought.  I made a thinking face, my finger tapping my cheek so I would make it clear that I was playing along with him.  Meanwhile I mind linked the boys.  { I try to go to his house so we can figure out if the girl is here out of free will or not}  Jake mind linked me back almost instantly.  {got it, we have your back}

I smirked at the beta standing at the table.  ''And what would you like to show me then?''  Asking while licking my lips.

He bit his lower lip before replying.  ''Girl I can show you whatever you want.  Why not going to my house so we can start there?''  I stood up and the twins did as well.  He raised an eyebrow at the twins.  ''They are just my friends who are traveling with me, but they are used waiting for me when I'm busy''  I said that last part in a whisper while standing right in front of him, my finger circling on his chest.  ''Very well then.'' He said and made an sign to the rest of the table including the girl that they need to follow him.

Yes.. now hope that this will turn out for the best.
