Sleep over

Ethan's POV

"I love Jasper," she said.

"So…?" I said and raised up her hand; I saw the bracelet. "Beautiful but cheap; he should do better." I scoffed.

And she gave me a look; I quickly shut up and changed the topic.

"Erm, Ave…," I called, as we walked outside, heading home. "It's been long since we had a sleepover. What about tonight? I have a lot of fun things to do before the freaking test in two weeks."

"nah…I'm just too happy for a sleepover; I might spend the whole time with Jasper on the phone," she said.

"This guy sure is stealing my best friend away," I pouted and walked to the front, leaving her.

She ran to me and held my hands. "I'm sorry, Ethan. Maybe after the test? You know I don't want to fail this test; I'm really studying, unlike you who hate reading," she teased.

"Hey, don't blame me." We finally reached our destinations and parted ways.

When I got home, I met my dad and mom making out a little in the kitchen.

"Mom! Dad!" I called. "Pls…do this privately."

"C'mon, Ethan, once you marry, I'm sure yours will be worse," my mum teased.

"Don't mind Ethan; he's probably jealous," my dad added.

Seriously, my parents are something else.

Avery Mitchell's POV

I arrived home; I saw my mom packing some clothing in her bag, and she looked tired.

"Mum, where are you going?"

"Oh, darling, I'm off to work. The person on shift today said she won't be around, so I had to fill in for her."

"Come on, mom, must it be you? You might fall sick one day," I said.

"I won't, okay…I'm doing it for you," she answered.

I felt a sting of guilt in my heart.

"Besides, we haven't had mother-daughter time," I said.

She came to me and cupped my face with her hands. "We will soon, but for now, take care, don't go outside. There's news flying around about robbers, okay."

"And I might call Ethan to come stay with you. I trust him."

"No, no, mum, leave Ethan out. Why stress my boy for me?"

"I said and she laughed."

"Okay, darling, bye…." She said and hugged me, and I pecked her cheeks.

Later in the night, I was wearing a black tight and a white singlet with a blanket all over me. Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door. When I opened it, I was shocked to find who I saw.

"Ethan?" I called, still shocked. He just leaned on the wall, smirking at me. He was in night trousers and a white body top, tightening his muscles. His messy hair covered his face.

"He was hot."

"My daughter," he said jokingly, patting my head like a baby. Of course, I was short; he didn't have to make it obvious.

He squeezed himself inside and sat down on the couch.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, now a little bit mad.

"Hey, chill…your mom said I should come watch over you," he said. "And you might want to wear something moderate."

I looked down at myself and scurried upstairs.

Soon we were finally doing the sleepover he was dreaming of; we had dinner, played around the house like kids until my neighbor came to warn us.

"Haha, let's watch a movie," he said, sitting right next to me.

"Fine, but not horror," I said, and he smirked.

"I'm putting on the serial killers movie," he said.

"Whatever…let's hurry so I can call Jasper."

"Sure thing, lover girl," he teased, and I s*****d him playfully.

"You might wanna sit on my lap…in case you get scared; I will hold you," he said in a whisper in my ear, sending shivers down my spine.

"Seriously, Ethan? Seriously," I said, and he smiled.

Soon enough, thank God the movie finished. I yawned, stretching my body. I wanted to sleep, but I had to call Jasper before I could take it; he took it and raised it up, knowing fully well I couldn't reach that high.

"Come on, Ethan, pls…." I pleaded, but he seemed to take it higher the more as I proceeded to jump.

He carried me up on his shoulder and proceeded up the stairs. I kept hitting him to put me down, but he didn't hear. When we reached my room, he flung me hard on the bed.

"Wow, thanks for putting me down nicely”.

“ you are welcome dear “ he said and lay on the floor .

“ what are you doing ? Come to the bed right now “ I said and he hurried quickly I chuckled.

“ thought u would never ask . Goodnight ave “.
