Immortal Romance

Chapter Nine

While she was asleep one day, Dinah had heard someone knocking on the door, while asking; who it was, while; surprised that The Lyran King was at their doorstep, injured. While letting him inside of the old bunk house, Dinah had locked the door behind her. "Oh my gods"! "What happened, Ben?!" Dinah asked, while immediately going into labor, not even being able to make it to the bottom bunk bed. While Lavender was frightened, she had asked The Lyran King, who was her real father; "what do I do?" "I'm scared." While comforting she & Dinah, The Lyran King had helped his daughter deliver her newborn baby sister, Artemis. While hearing a small, loud cry, Dinah had known that her baby had been born, while Ben gently wrapped her up; giving her to Dinah. "This is your new baby sister, Artemis Dragoon." Dinah told Lavender, who had seen that her sister had brown eyes', almost red, curly black hair, & had the same skin tone, as her father, Lord Shiva. "She's so cute;" While The Lyran King was instructed to sit down, Dinah had fixed his wounds', while Lavender asked; "who are you?" "What are you?" to The Lyran King. Before he could say anything, Lord Shiva had came back, while the rain had begun to hit the top of the tin roof. "Father!" "I thought you'd never return!" Lavender said, hugging Lord Shiva, upsetting The Lyran King. "I want you guys' to meet Baby Artemis." Dinah said, while Lord Shiva only cried tears' of joy, when he saw his newborn baby girl. "Artemis, what a beautiful name." Lord Shiva said, as the baby cooed, while in her father's arms'. "Yeah, you've always been good at naming things'." Lyran King Ben said, while there was a loud knock at the door, & then, a pounding; while Dinah had turned into a dragoness (female dragon), & her daughter turned into a white lioness, as both female celestial beings' growled; standing in front of the males', that stayed with them, in the bunk house. "What are you two doing?!" "You'll be either hurt or killed!" Lord Shiva said while he tried to stop both females', but; was unsuccessful.While holding a sword & shield, Dinah told her daughter; who had a gun, that was loaded, "whatever or whoever comes through this door, destroy them at once!" "No questions' asked!" "Understand me?!" While she had told her mother, "yes; mother." Lavender had stood in front of The Lyran King Ben and Lord Shiva, who had been so scared; as, both were injured. "My Lord, I know how to use weapons', like my mom taught me." "I'll be fine, & so will mom." Lavender said, while c*****g her loaded gun; as she also had a bow & some arrows', in case; there had been a need to fight. "You taught her to use weapons', behind my back?!" Lord Shiva asked Dinah angrily. "Hey!" Fighting is essential, especially during these Dystopian Times', here on earth!" Dinah said, while The Lyran King said, "I agree with the statement Dinah made, one-hundred percent!" "Also, yes, I did teach our daughter to use dangerous weapons' the correct & right way." "I've taught her, since she was ten." Dinah told Lord Shiva, who told her; "I just hope you know what you're doing." "Also, please do not get killed." "I mean, I know you're immortal; but, I know that Lavender is only half immortal." "Besides, her baby sister is all we have of each other, if Lavender dies." Lord Shiva said, while Ben said; "please be careful, you two." While the door has been battery rammed by The Leader of The Dark Ones', Dinah & Princess Lavender had shot the evil aliens' down; killing them, one by one; until, they retreated back to their home planet; far away in the galaxies'.
