Our party members decided to stay at Akane’s home and make the restaurant business alive again. We started hiring some people to join our restaurant. Making the restaurant more lively than ever.
We have Akane as the main cook even though she is aiming to be a sword saint she has her love for cooking as well. She inherited the recipe from her family that is passed down through the generations. Apparently, Sword saint is a title only given after the current sword saint dies.
That’s the problem for Akane.
The current sword saint is no ordinary. He is very powerful and can use both magic and sword at the same time he is classified as the strongest saint in his era. But the king doesn’t have control over him and he resides in the small uncivilized town of Issiah.

There are new faces like the waitress Sasa and Nana. They are twins who love to learn how to cook. Akane is teaching them cooking and at the same time they are working as a waitress in the restaurant. The other new member is Sano Megumi. She the homeroom teacher of Haru. She said many things happened and she had a baby. I’m asking her who is the father but she won’t tell me. The baby is named Emiko written with kanji of “Blessed child”.
The baby very behaves and it didn’t really do any trouble.
She is very cute.
I’m currently playing with Emiko using the stuffed toys. Emiko is about four months old according to Megumi. Thinking about it. I didn’t know how Megumi released this child with her tiny middle school student-like body. The world does have its wonders I think.
Us being adventurers is just by name now. The name adventurers in our adventurer Id is now worthless. Because we have a business and we almost didn’t need to go away to do quest anymore.
Living simple might be the best.
That’s not really the case because people like them often come to ask me for help.
Opening the door a knight arrived. He called me out and have a private talked to me.
“A message from Nicole?”
“Master Nicole wanted you to take a look in the town of Issiah. He said there are documents about the genesis bearers in the town. Also, the sword saint wanted to see you.”

Akane heard us and she is very excited after hearing the news.

We saw a butler and say hi to him.
“We have an appointment with the sword saint can we see him?”
I asked.
“Sorry but this is not the sword saint house… His house is the house beside our mansion over there.”
The butler told us.
We then move to the house beside the mansion.
We arrived in a small wooden house located in the center of the town.
I knock on the door.
“Is this really the place? I thought the sword saint is living in a glamorous mansion.”
According to the knight, this is the house. Or did I made a mistake in following the direction?
Anyway, the butler told us that the swordmaster is living in this place. I don’t have time to question him.
Opening the door is a small girl at age around 8.
“Who is it?”
“We are visitors and we’re looking for the sword saint.”

The girl turned her back and run in the corridor inside. It appears like we're truly in the right place.
The man titled as the sword saint appeared. The strongest of all the knights.
He is just wearing a normal plain laboratory coat that looks a bit big on him. He is not that tall. His black hair and the black eye have remained me of a Japanese boy. But he definitely not at the same time. Instead of a swordsman, this man looks more like a researcher or something.
“I’m pleased that both of you come here… Nicole told me that you’re looking for the documents about the genesis bearer… I’m ready to give it to you in one condition… Have a sparring battle with me and show me you’re power. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. I will still give you the document.”
Nero gets his sword. It’s not an ordinary sword it’s a laser-plasma sword. It’s very high technology for a time period like this. But still, I don’t want to lose.
Those eyes of him that look so bored. I feel like he's looking down on me.
“Mayu can you let me have this battle? I wanted a one-on-one spar with him.”
“Is it really okay Sword saint?”
I asked.
“It’s okay… You can have your turn later. Also, call me Nero no need for respectful bullshit.”

Akane steps forward and gets her Excalibur and her blue sword. The tension on the battlefield is rising. Akane then swings her Excalibur.

Her sword gotten bigger and she swings it toward Nero. Nero stopped it with his hands.
“Lightning shock!”
I simple lightning shock stunned Akane and for 0.2 seconds, but that time is enough for the sword saint to pull Akane and smash her down using the handle of his sword to the ground.
“White world flash.”
It was so fast I was not even able to see it. Nero defeated Akane immediately. Knocking her down in instant.
I thought Akane is the strongest swordsman but seems like I was wrong.
Akane was then left unconscious after the battle.
I stop and face him. I need to be more serious.
“Ultimate magic: fire…”
Before I finished my spell. He suddenly appeared in front of me and pushed my body using his palm.
“Pure magic: Pure impact!”
I was blasted backward. I lost my balance and roll to the ground.

“What are you thinking big sister? This place is a town why you attempted to use powerful fire magic. The house is mostly made of wood you know…”
“Yu is right? I’m quite disappointed to this genesis bearer.”

Going inside his house everything is normal except one room full of scientific equipment and lots of paper sticking in the wall.

We then go o a small room and I was served a meal to eat.

I asked Nero.
“Well, even I don’t want to make things longer than it supposes to be. Genesis is the power of creation. Basically, it’s the power of creating. But Genesis bearers are different from the ordinary magic-user. Their magic was from another dimension or what they called the higher plane of existence. You might not believe me but I’m already 35 years old and Yu is 29 years old. We’re both curses and have this child-like body after witnessing the place where genesis from. We saw it the one who's giving the genesis bearer the genesis magic. The one who gives the creator power to create the magic.”
“The one who created the creator? I thought the creator is the one who created the magic.”
“She is really the one who created the magic and skill system but someone gives her the power to do that. It’s the genesis magic. Just like you the creator that everyone believes as god is a Genesis bearer. Therefore, people like you have a god likeability or surpass it.”
Yu, then turn her glance at me.
“But Yu, don’t hate staying as 8 years old. That means I’m forever cute.”
“It’s ten years ago when I saw her. I don’t even know if it's a human or something alien. My body suddenly felt the sensation of burning when we set our eye’s on it.
