Chapter 55: Demon lord commander King

Defeating the twin demon girls. Use poison magic to paralyzed their body and waited for them to wake up. At the moment they woke up. Mayu started questioning them about the location of the King.
“Would you mind telling me where is the King's location?”
“Glacier… There no way we’re going to say it.”
“Flarie… We will never gonna say it.”
The twin sister was loyal to their master and just turn their heads away from Mayu. Mayu then got angry and pointed her staff to the twin sisters. In the tip of the staff, a spark of lightning was seen.
Zap! Zap! Zap!”
Mayu looks toward the girl with a smug face.
“Glacier… This woman is crazy!”
“Flarie… This woman is a monster!”
“Are you going to tell me or not?”
The twin demon started to feel terrified more than how they fear their own Master. They started to shake and then look at each other eye’s. After nodding and decide they swallowed their saliva.
Gulp.
“We will say it but promise Glacier to protect us…”
“Flarie… Agreed… I agree too.”
“Okay, I promise… Killing kids like you gonna leave a bad taste in my mouth after all. I won’t kill both of you… But if you betrayed me. I will capture both of you and feed you to the hungry monsters in the capital city.”
The twin sister being a child that they are really got terrified of what Mayu said. Of course, the monster feeding part is a lie. There is no way Mayu knows about those kinds of stuff. But if It’s Nicole and his squad who got their hands with these little demon kids. There was a chance of them dying in cruelty.
The twin Sister then makes a magic circle.
“What is that?”
Asked Mayu.
“It’s a contract pact… To tell that we won't betray you.”
“A demon contract.”
The magic circle glows with each other agreement and then it disappeared in light particles. If someone breaks the contract. They will suffer unimaginable pain from inside and might die from it. The win demon just does it because even as a demon. They hold promises and contract very precious.
The twin then escorts Mayu toward the Seventh Island and there is the cathedral. The giant white cathedral. It’s a very old one in its structure. It has a high ceiling and still sturdy looking.
“Mayu?”
The girl that called out Mayu is Sister Lily.
“Sister Lily where are the others?
“I have no idea on where they we’re… What’s with those cute girls behind you they seem very frightened of me… Hello, I’m not a bad sister. I won’t do anything from you.”
“Glacier… Sisters are bad.”
“Flarie… They said to eat demon kids.”
“What kind of stories the demons telling their child… More importantly why you’re with a demon child.”
Sister Lily said.
“Well, many things happened and I need then to find this place. This cathedral is said to be the place where King resides. I wanted to finish this and free the slave people in southern Island… How did you know this is the place, Sister?”
Sister Lily then averted her eye’s toward the pile of demons she defeated. Sister Lily defeated one of the Seven Swords of the southern Island. The fight was so fast she forget about its name. She then started defeating the demons come to her way and make a pile of them.
Looking to the mountain pile of defeated demons. Mayu already knows the answer to her question so she didn’t seek any answer anymore.
“Glacier… Can’t go inside anymore.”
“Flarie… Master King is dangerous.”
Mayu patted their heads and smile.
“Thank you, Glacier… Flarie… Even you tried to kill me earlier, but I know you have your own reason for doing it. So I forgive you both. We’ll now gonna go.”
The twin sister is fluttered to Mayu’s words and their face became a bit red.
Sister Lily then smiles seeing Mayu’s kindness. Sister Lily, even she is foul-mouthed. She won’t kill a child.
Mayu and Sister Lily turn their heads toward the giant door of the cathedral. They open it together and enter. Stepping in the dark cathedral. Sister Lily started to have sweat falling to her cheeks. As they look around they saw many statues of unknown people.
They then look toward the one statue on the altar. It’s the statue of the creator. The same one that s presented in hologram in Grandellia guild.
“Why a statue of creator is here?”
Asked Sister Lily.
Being a Sister they only look upon one god and it’s the creator. But why demons are also worshiping their god is very odd in Sister Lily’s eyes.
“Because she is the symbol of hope… The creator is the symbol of hope… With one wish, you can create infinite possibilities. With her power, the world can turn upside down.”
The man named King makes an appearance. It’s the masculine body, red eyes, and curve horns. His shadow covers Mayu and Sister Lily.
“Are you the Genesis Bearer?”
Mayu was confused about how he was able to know about it. If someone uses a status-check skill on her Mayu will immediately notice it. But King didn’t use status-check and still knows about it. It’s just a hunch because Mayu and Sister Lily appeared together.
Mayu tried to use Status-check on the king but it didn’t work and it Error.
Mayu knows that she can’t underestimate the power of her opponent. She won't have the reason not to give her all.
“Genesis bearer? What is this guy talking about Mayu?”
Sister was puzzled.
“I don’t really know… But either way, this man is an enemy.”
“You’re right.”
Mayu concentrates her magic and air started to flow to her. The same with Sister Lily. Sister Lily's hands were then covered by her pure magic.
“Water magic: Sea dragon roar!”
“Pure magic: Mana Beam!”
A dragon in form of a dragon and a blueish laser-like beam was fired toward King. King was hit directly by their magic. In the end, Kind was still standing after receiving it directly and he makes an evil smile.
“Is that it Genesis Bearer?”
“Fire magic: Salamander breath!”
Mayu summons a Salamander and then launches an enormous blaze of fire from the spirit's mouth. The continuous stream of fire could be used to pin down targets and to ignite large areas.
King just stands still and lets himself get hit by their magic.
He then breathed. Inhale and exhale heavily and then started to step forward Mayu and Sister Lily.
“You won’t go any farther… Pure magic: Mana beam!”
King just avoided it by jumping sideways and continue to run toward Mayu. Mayu to protect herself make Ice wall with her Ice magic. The Ice wall was tall and thick. Mayu tried to corner King by making tall Ice walls surrounding him and them firing powerful flame magic.
But it didn’t work. From the other side of the Ice wall. The explosion happened and a continuous explosion in the ground appears. It hurt Sister Lily and she flew and slam her body to the wall.
“Sister!”
Mayu turned her head to Sister with a worried expression. Mayu is still not recovering from the death of her friends and doesn’t want to happen again. There is some fear that she will feel the same pain in her heart again.
That’s something she won't want to happen.
She then hurried herself to heal Sister Lily.
It was too late because King is already in front of her and the moment he punches Mayu. King's hand exploded and blasting Mayu toward the sturdy ceiling of the cathedral.
Sister Lily healed herself and then goes back to the battle. She cast healing magic to Mayu in the long-range distance.
“Healing magic: Angel love!”
“A sister that can perform long-range healing… That rare…”
“I’m a prodigy… I won’t die with a simple explosion like yours.”
“You’re hurt but still have an ability to be proud of yourself… Human’s sure like to act high and mighty.”
From the ceiling Mayu attack King with her wind magic. She created a giant sword of wind using her solidification technique and s***h it toward King.
King uses his hands to chop the wind sword in half.
“Is that it Genesis bearer?”
“No way… That one of my most powerful wind magic.”
Mayu and Sister Lily regroup and distance themselves to King.
“I can’t see his status… He must be a high-level one.”
“That’s right… He's not affected by our attack magic and he can make powerful explosions… What kind of ability this demon have.”
King started walking and an explosion appears every time he walks.
“I’m one of the demon king commanders… Do you both think you are superior to me because your level is closer to mine? That’s not how it works. Skills and Abilities are always added in battle. If you don’t know how to defeat your enemy's ability there is no way for you to defeat me.”

In my Mayu’s eye’s vision… Everything suddenly got blurry. In her feet, a soft feeling was felt and the same light, while she was on the train, was seen.
“Is that all you can do?”
The soft feeling in her feet. Mayu turns her head to the ground she’s standing and she saw herself standing in the pile of dead people. There is a pool of blood everywhere. She saw Meily and Kaede's dead body in front of her.

Mayu snapped out of it and wake up in reality.
She is still in front of King and fighting, but she started to feel scared and anxious about the vision she saw in her eyes.
“W-What… What was that? I-It’s not funny?”
She said with a shaky voice.”
Mayu is shaking and trembling as the sweat of fear flow on her cheeks.
“Mayu? Are you okay?”
