CHAPTER NINE

As soon as I wake up I feel somewhat refreshed considering the events from earlier and look to my side to see Liz is still sleeping. I then turned to my night stand and seen that it was six thirty-two. "s**t!" I hurriedly got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom to start my shower so it could get warm. I hurriedly peed and started to strip my clothes to take a quick shower. As I was finishing shaving my legs I hear Liz walk in the bathroom and she ask "Why didn't you wake me?" I go to tell her I only just woken up myself when she opens my shower door and jumps in stark naked. "What the hell are you doing?" I shreik at her trying to cover myself up when she just rolls her eyes at me. "Taking a shower what does it look like I'm doing?" She replied. This girl has completely gone bonkers. "I see that, but why couldn't you wait until I was done?" I ask. "You need to lighten up, Goddess I've already seen your lady bits" She says as she slaps me on the ass. When I growl out at her and hop out. Good thing I'm done anyway. Gah! The nerve of her.

I grab a towel and wrap it around my body and go to walk in my bedroom to notice that my bedroom door is still open. So I go to close it when my mom walks in just as I reached the door. "It's about time you girls woke up. Hurry up and get presentable guests are already starting to arrive. Oh, and one more thing." She says and hands me two shopping bags from Louis Vuitton and winks at me while walking away.

I close my door and put the bags on my bed just as Liz walks out the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her. "What's this?" She asks and I go to open one of the bags and see a beautiful but simple honey colored off shoulder dress and Liz immediately takes it off my hands. "I'll wear this one thank you!" She says as she walks to the bathroom to get changed. I huff out and go to look in the other bag and pull out a sleeveless emerald blue dress that feels like silk in my hands. I finish drying off and grab my strapless bra and some panties to put them on when I hear Liz walk out the bathroom. I stop in my tracks when I see her. "Oh my Goddess! You look stunning!" I tell her as she twirls around and I see a slit that goes up to mid thigh. "Exactly my thoughts" She says as she walks back in my bathroom and I hear the blow dryer going.

I turn my attention back to my dress and unzip the side and slip it on and zip it back up once it's in place. The dress hugs my body like a second skin and I walk to the corner of my room to my chevel and looked at my reflection. I turned my back to turn around to check out my ass when I hear Liz whistle out at me. "Damn girl, if I was lesbian I would totally hit on you." She says to me. I just giggle at her comment and shake my head. "She's right. We look hot!" Myia perks up strutting in my head. Silly wolf.

I go to do my hair when Liz speaks up. "Here, let me do your hair." As she grabs my brush to start styling my hair as I do my makeup. I decided on doing a smokey cat eye to make my eyes stand out more than they already do. As I'm putting on the finishing touches of my make up, Liz finishes my hair. I look at her handy work and noticed she fishtail braided my hair and pinned up the ends so my hair is all the way up and leaving my back bare.

"Are you girls ready yet" my mom links me. I internally roll my eyes "Yes mom. On the way out now." I link back. "Come on Liz. Mom wants us out there." We walk out my bathroom and slip on our heels and walk hand in hand outside.

Once we made our way outside, I look ahead of us and see my parents greeting other Alpha's and Lunas at the front of the pack house. So we start walking together towards the back of the pack house to where my brothers Ceremony will take place. As I look around I see about fifty to sixty tables with chairs on one side and a big stage in front. Off to the side I see where we have an open bar and on the other side is a lot of food. "Who knew there was going to be so many new faces" Liz says to me as we're walking up to our table with the name 'Freedman and Shaw' written on a place card on the table when we find our seats and sit down. Liz is right there is a lot of new faces in the crowd to go with our pack. "I'm gonna get up and snag us something to drink. Anything in particular you would like?" She asks me. "Something fruity " I tell her when she gets up to go to the open bar. I watch her as she walks away when I look out at my surroundings trying to pin point each Alpha to each pack.

While I continue to wait I feel the hair on the back of neck stand on end like someone is watching me. "Someone is definitely watching us" Myia spoke up. So I knew I wasn't just imagining it. Just as I was about to stand up to look for Liz, because she should have been back by now is when I hear a tap on a microphone and look towards the stage to see my father standing.

"I just want to say first and foremost thank you everyone who has came to help join us in the celebration of passing down my title to my eldest son Craig." he pauses, and I see Craig join my dad up on stage and Elder Carter carrying a Chalice and a Dagger walking towards them. My dad then picks up the dagger and slices is palm open and holds his bleeding hand over the Chalice. He then grabs Craig's hand and cuts into his palm and has him hold his bleeding hand over the Chalice as well mixing their blood. "Do you Craig, promise to protect the pack at all cost?" "I do" Craig answered. Elder Carter then brought the Chalice to Craig's lips and Craig drank all its contents and licked his lips. My father then got on his knees, to bow at Craig and Elder Carter spoke "I give you, your new Alpha, Craig Freedman of Opal Moon Pack". Everyone started to clap for excitement when Craig raised his hand up to silence everyone and then he took a few steps forward and held out a hand for his mate Sherri. She immediately grabbed it and he pulled her on stage with him. I envied them so much in this moment, for the love that they have showing in each other's eyes."Do you Sherri, promise to always obey your Alpha and to help make sure that all pack members' well being is looked after?" "I do" She she says. "By the power invested in me as Alpha, I give you my mate and your Luna of Opal Moon Pack" Craig finishes and everyone including myself stand up and howls to our new Alpha and Luna.

After everything quiets back down, Craig and Sherri step off the stage and walk out to the side and starts to shift into there wolves, and after they take off everyone else follows to run with their Alpha and Luna.

I slip away to find somewhere secluded and away from prying eyes when I feel the hairs on my neck stand on end again. I look around but even with my enhanced vision I don't see anything or anyone. So I walk behind a tree and strip my dress off and fold it neatly and place it on the ground and allow Myia to come forward with me in the shift. I step out from my spot to see a massive golden colored wolf about twenty feet away looking dead at me. "Mmmm hmm... Now that's what I call eye candy right there." Myia says. "He is beautiful, I wonder what pack he is from?" "Go sniff his butt!" "I AM NOT!" "Why not? I bet he smells just as yummy!" "Your unbelievable" and with that I turn away and start back towards the forest to go run with my new Alpha and Luna.
