When Christina arrived at Jonathan Kim's house, she was surprised to see Gloria sitting alone playing chess. Her figure looked like Agatha's. Christina was both surprised and curious at the same time. She never thought that she would like chess.
Christina approached her, smiled at her, and sat down across from her. Gloria cheerfully turned her gaze to the board, beckoning her to play chess with her grandmother. Christina felt like she was in an exciting time loop where pieces automatically became the rulers of space. While the two were brooding excitedly over their moves, their train of thought suddenly broke off.
"Gloria, I'm here! Are you playing chess alone again? Not waiting for you at all?" From outside came a sharp voice that startled Christina to drop the chess piece in her hand.
