Brandy could only smile after hearing that. Jonathan shook his head, and then they both returned to the banquet table. Outside, Christina was still staring blankly at people everywhere. The twinkling lights still attracted her. Christina realized it had been a long time, or maybe this was the first time she'd been so easily overwhelmed by the beauty of urban New York night.
But as soon as Christina turned to look. An utterly unknown man appeared beside her, and the smile on his face made her uncomfortable.
The strange man greeted Christina extremely politely, which made her somewhat secure. Christina is timid when dealing with strangers in this situation. The other boy introduced himself casually and offered to invite Christina to water, but she declined.
