Chapter 11: Calm Before Another Storm

Crystal's POV

It has been a little too quiet since the coronation 2 days ago. I can't say that I am not enjoying it. Apollo and I have been spending so much time getting to know each other. We both attended my sister Raylynn's Alpha ceremony. She actually tried to make my father and mother kick just me out cause she thought that all I would do is ruin her chances of finding her mate. I actually had to pull rank on her as much as I hated doing it. When we came home, Apollo made sure to remind me of how hot it was to see me pulling rank on my sister was to him. We found ourselves locked in our room for 2 days just enjoying each others company and making love every chance that we could. I was honestly surprised that I have not gotten pregnant yet.

We finally decided that we needed to come out of our room and join the rest of our family. After taking a soothing shower I pulled on a pair of dark jeans and a tank top and pulled my hair up into a high ponytail. I started heading to the elevator knowing that Apollo was already downstairs getting food ready. Suddenly my cellphone started ringing in my back pocket. Pulling it out I frowned cause I didn't recognize the number. Upon looking at it closely, I realized that it was a number from one of the fairy providences. I answered quickly hoping it was a certain friend of mine.

"Lilly is this you?"

"I am so sorry, ma'am. Miss Lilly gave me your number because she thinks that maybe you can help me with a problem that I am having" A young meek voice came over the phone, "My name is Alvar and I am a summer fairy in need of you and King Apollo's help."

"Well hello Alvar. Of course we can definitely try to help you out. I am perfectly fine with Lilly giving you my number." I said as I made it to the dining room. "Give me just a moment let me just grab Apollo and my brother, and we will discuss what is going on, OK? Sweetheart let me call you back on the telephone in my office, OK? Is this your cellphone?"

"That sounds amazing, Ma'am. Yes this is indeed my own cellphone so please do call this number. Also thank you ma'am."

"Dear please just call me Crystal, OK. I'll call you soon. OK bye"

I walked over to Apollo and hugged him from behind. Kissing him on the cheek, I looked up at my brother and told him and Apollo I needed them in my office. Steel looked at me with a strange look.

"Sis are you OK? That sounded like it might be a pretty important call." He said with concern in his voice.

"Yes Steel, everything OK. Lilly gave a young man my number because he is in need of help from me and Apollo."

Steel jumped up really quickly when I mentioned Lilly's name, "If Lilly is sending him to you then it must be pretty serious. Come on, let's go and call the kiddo back so we can try to help." By this time Apollo was also standing and ready to help.

We all headed up to my office, of course after Apollo asked the cook to send our food up to us. I quickly headed over to my phone on my desk and dialed Alvar's number while turning on the speaker phone. After 2 rings, Alvar answered and asked us to give him a moment.

"Thank you so much for calling me back Crystal. I am so sorry I had to walk away from the people that were gathered around them cause some of them are part of the problem. Is King Apollo and Lord Steel with you?" he said quite quickly that it left him out of breathe. Steel chuckled and calmly answered, "Hey there Alvar, yes Apollo and I are here. You can just call us by our names. What is it that we can help you with?"

"Thank you so much again for hearing from me. So as I told Crystal earlier, Miss Lilly gave your number cause she thinks that only you guys can help her niece, Aubri, who is a Winter Fairy."

I looked at Apollo, who looked kind of confused. "Dear what is on your mind? You look confused."

"This young lady is a winter fairy but her aunt is a spring fairy. How does that work out?" Apollo says as he looks at me. Chuckling I explained, "Fairies are allowed to marry and be mated to other season fairies. Lilly's sister was mated to the next leader of the winter fairies." Nodding Pollo asked Alvar to continue his story.

"A couple of years ago, Aubri's parents were killed in an intentional car accident that left Aubri stunted and an orphan. Miss Lilly tried to get custody of Aubri but her other aunt made it where she could never be found. A year ago Aubri has surfaced again and to say that she looks terrible is an understatement. They are abusing her and I am pretty sure I have heard that there is going to be an attempt on her life. Please you have to help her!"

Upon hearing all that the boy had to say, I pulled out my cellphone and dialed Lilly's number. I placed the phone on speaker just as Lilly answered.

"Crystal, did Alvar call you yet? Please tell me you can help my niece?!?" She cried over the phone.

"Shhh Lilly, it's ok. We are actually on the phone with Alvar now and I wanted to call you personally and tell you that we need you permission to come into your land because we are going to help you save Aubri."
