Chapter 4: The Wolves

Crystal POV

    Waking up in the morning next to Apollo was like a dream come true. Knowing that this handsome wolf was all mine made my mind wander off to what we had done last night. I found myself snuggling up even closer to him and sighed contently. Suddenly there was a very loud knock on the door. I took a sniff of the air and was not familiar with the scent that I was taking in. Scared about who was at the door I shook Apollo awake to the best of my abilities.

"Darling someone is pounding on the door and I don't know who it is." I say to him in a low voice laced with a slight amount of fear. Apollo wakes up and looks into my wide eyes. Taking me into his arms making sure that I am calmed down Apollo looks over to the door. "Kairi knock it off! You are scaring Crystal and that is not ok. You have a key silly goose. Just open the door and come in already!" I heard a small chuckle from outside the door and turned to see who decided that pounding on the door was a great idea. 

    After hearing the door get unlocked and opened, in waltz a small petite girl with a cute pixie haircut. Looking at her I realized that she looked a little bit like Apollo, so she had to be his little sister. Princess Kairi stood at 5'5" with midnight black hair that looked almost blue. Looking at her brother she snickered at the look that he was giving her. "Hey big bro, mom and dad want all of us to enjoy breakfast together so we can all get to know each other. Hi there Crystal. I'm Kairi, Apollo's younger "annoying" sister. Nice to finally see that my brother found his mate and our new Luna queen. Anyways I'm heading out to go grab my beautiful mate and I will see you two down in the dining room." With that she waltzed back out without even giving either of us a chance to even say anything. 

    Looking over at Apollo, we both started laughing at her adorable antics. Leaning over Apollo softly kissed my lips and then proceeded to get out of bed. "Come on angel. Let's get changed and head on down to the dining room before my mother actually comes up here to get us. She has been looking forward to the day that I got my mate and I don't want to keep her waiting." Nodding I get off of the bed and follow him over to the closet. Grabbing my backpacks for me, he lead me into his closet and started to help me hang up all of my clothes that I had brought with me. Apollo started to empty out my last backpack, the one that had my pink leather dress in it and when he saw the dress his eyes widened.

"Angel, is this the dress that you wore at your birthday party?" He asked while holding it up. Nodding I answered, "Yes it is. I am not one for all that girly girl stuff and knowing that my mother was going to insist that I wear a dress, I had asked the dress maker if she could make that for me instead. I wanted to wear something that I wanted and not what my mother and sister would have forced me into." Looking at him I couldn't help but ask him, “Do you not like it, Pollo? If not I don't need to keep it. I mean it's not like it has the best memories with it and........." He gently kissed me and stopped me in the middle of my ramble and then looked at me with a look filled with nothing but love and amusement. 

"Angel the reason that I asked that is because I did something similar to this when I turned 16 except I did mine in golden leather with the royal crest on the back of the jacket. I guess we really were meant for each other." Smiling I realized he was right; we really were meant for one another. 

    Turning around with my clothes in my hand, I head over to the bathroom and turn on the shower. Stepping into the shower was like stepping into a small piece of heaven. I didn't know how much I needed this shower until I was standing under the warm water and I could feel all of my muscles start to relax. Trying to make sure that I didn't take too much time, I quickly started to wash myself and then I turned off the shower. Stepping out I reached for the towel that I had laid out on top of my clothes, only to be met with the strong chest of my mate. Looking up to his face, I knew that we weren't going to be going down to breakfast just yet. 

    Apollo grabbed the hand that was on his chest and pulled me over to him. I notices as he pulled me over to him that all of his clothes were off as well, as if he was planning on joining me in the shower if I hadn't gotten out when I did. Pulling me close, he started to kiss me like his life depended on it. Kissing him back, I found myself getting aroused just from this one kiss. Pulling back for some air I watched as he sniffed the air and then he looked at me with the most beautiful silver eyes that I had ever seen. I knew his wolf was here to play and I was looking forward to it. He didn't even break a stride as he picked me up and placed me onto the countertop. Placing another kiss onto my lips, he started to making his way down to my folds all while looking straight into my eyes. Making it down to my weeping folds, he pulled my legs apart so he could reach them and started to devour me like I was the last meal that he would ever have. I found myself in a moaning mess and I could feel the pressure start to build in me to the point I thought I was going to explode.

When Apollo saw that my eyes were starting to roll back into my head, he started to make it his personal mission to make this orgasm my best one yet. Apollo POV

  As I watched my angel come down from the intense orgasm that I just gave her, all I could think is that I wanted to give her this for the rest of her life. As I held her in my arms, I walked her into the shower so we could rinse off before we got dressed. Rinsing her off and making sure that she was ok to stand on her own I started washing myself. Crystal stepped out of the shower while I was finished up and dried herself off in a slow and sexy way that made me want to take her again like I did last night. However knowing that my mother would not be happy with how long we were taking I quickly turned away from my beautiful mate and turned on the cold water to calm myself and Titan down. Turning off the water and turning around to get out of the shower I see that she had left the towel for me to use and was dressed in some grey skinny jeans that hugged her hips just right and a blood red tank top.

  Stepping out of the shower I started to dry myself and then wrapped the towel around my waist. Walking into my closet I pulled down my black jeans and blood red muscle tee that I had planned on wearing today. Knowing that I was going to be matching with my mate made me chuckle to myself a little as I put my clothes on and stepped out into our room. Seeing that Crystal was no longer in the room or the bathroom, I headed out of the room and down to the dining room. Seeing her and her brother walking not far ahead of me, I started to walk faster until I caught up to them. Looking at Steel I could tell that him and Bella had marked and mated just like me and his sister, and from the red face my angel had right now I knew that her brother was giving her a hard time about it.

  Bella caught up to me and we walked behind our mates with grins on our faces. Looking at Bella I mind linked her, “Hey Bella what do you say we surprise them and have some fun?” Looking over at me, Bella’s grin got even bigger, “Sure, but I get your mate and you get mine. Lets see how well trained they are.” Nodding I swap places with Bella and started to slowly stalking towards Steel. I made sure to let my father know what we were about to do through mind link so that when there was a big bang outside the door no one would think that we were being attacked. Looking over at Bella who was stalking up to Crystal I nodded and jumped. As if they heard our thoughts, Crystal and Steel quickly turned to me and Bella to stop our attacks. Steel quickly grabbed onto my arm that was reaching out towards him and used my weight against me to throw me into the door of the dining room. Landing on my back with a huge “ummff” I looked up to see his hand shoot out in the fastest judo chop I have ever seen in a long time. Chuckling at my antics, Steel pulled me up and patted my back. We both look at our girls only to find them doing an epic hand-to-hand combat.

  Bella is finding it a little hard to keep up with my angel. For every punch and kick that Bella seemed to throw Crystal’s way she was met with an equal reaction. It seemed as if Bella was holding back. Looking over at Steel I saw that he was more worried about his mate then his sister. “Hey Steel, what rank was your sister in your old pack?” I asked him curious why my angel was just as good as Bella was. Looking at me Steel laughed, “Oh that little one there was our head warrior just like me. None of the warriors ever wanted to take her on alone. They all knew better.” Laughing I decided that it would be a good time to stop the fighting.

“Alright girls that’s enough. We get it you are both great warriors.” Suddenly my father came out of the dining room to see what was taking so long. My dad took one look at Bella and knew who the victor was between the two of them. “Now Bella from the looks of it, you didn’t need to hold your power back. Something tells me that our future queen luna can handle herself just fine. Now come children lets all go eat.” With that we all headed into the dining room.

Crystal POV

  Getting to spar with Izabella was actually quite fun. I can see why Steel was paired with her and I totally approve. Walking into the dining room I found myself becoming a little overwhelmed by all the people that were there that I didn’t know. At the head of the table was King Hades, Apollo’s father, trying to look very stoic though I could tell he was trying his best not to laugh at our goofiness. On the right side of him was Queen Zelda, who looked like she was about to smack the four of us for taking so long. To the left of him was two empty seats that Apollo was directing me to. Next to the queen was Kairi and next to her was a carbon copy of Izabella. Sitting next to me was my father and steel and Izabella wound up sitting across from one another. Steel sat next to our father whereas Izabella sat next to her carbon copy.

Apollo, noticing my discomfort, leaned over and took my hand in his. “Angel, are you ok? No one here will ever hurt you ok. Relax, I’ve got you covered ok.” Looking over at Steel, who was looking over when he heard Pollo ask if I was ok, he nodded and then looked over at his mate. “Iza, who is that sitting next to you? She looks like an exact replica of you but different at the same time.” Iza looked over at Steel and then at me and seemed to realize why I look so uncomfortable.

“Oh my goddess! I am so sorry Crystal! I forgot that you, Apollo and Steel wound up sleeping the night away and didn’t get to meet my sister. Crystal, Steel this is my twin sister Rebecca our princess’s mate. Becks this is future queen Crystal and her twin and my mate Steel.” Rebecca looked over at me and nodded her head. However when she looked over at Steel she had a serious look on her face, “ Nice to meet you finally Steel. Word to the wise, hurt my sister and I am pretty sure your sister will have to kill me cause I will kill you.”

Looking at Rebecca in a shocked manner, all I could do was laugh because she actually managed to scare my poor big brother. Pretty soon everyone was joining me in laughing at my brother because his face was quite comical.

“Alright everyone, finish eating. I’m pretty sure everyone want to spend time with their mates. I know I most certainly do.” King Hades said as he took Zelda’s hand and squeezed it before he returned to his food.

-----Couple Hours Later-------

  After we were all done eating, all of us young adults decided to go outside and enjoy the beautiful day. Looking over at the courtyard I noticed that my father’s car was waiting for him and he seemed to be saying goodbye to the king and queen. After getting Steel’s attention, I quickly ran over to the car. When we got there, dad headed our way.

“Daddy are you leaving already? Do you have to? Please stay Daddy!” I started to cry because I didn’t want my father to leave. My dad looked at me with tears in his eyes and he quickly grabbed me into his arms.

“Oh baby girl, I have to go otherwise your mother will tear apart the world to find me. Your sister needs to take over with her mate and then I will come back ok? I promise I am not abandoning you guys. I just need to deal with your sister and your mother. I love you two and I believe you guys will change the world for the better. Stay strong my little warriors and remember that I will be back, ok?” With that my father let me go and quickly gave Steel a hug. With one final kiss to my forehead, he got into the car and took off before he could change his mind. Turning to Steel, all I could do is hold on tight to my big brother as I sobbed. Steel stood there holding me, knowing that I needed a little time to cry. Once I was able to stop crying, Steel looked at me and smiled a sad smile.

“Come on little one, lets go see if the others want to go for a run. Something tells me that might make us all happy ok. Here comes Apollo he already knows that we wanna go for a run so this should be fun.” Looking up I see that Pollo was indeed coming over to us with a look of love on his face. Walking up to him I allowed myself to be swallowed in one of his hugs that make me feel safe.

“Come on Angel. Let’s go for a run. Titan is looking forward to seeing his queen and so am I.” Nodding we walked over to our friends who were waiting for us at the tree line. We all went behind our own trees for the shift.

“Are you ready Saphira?” I asked as I stripped my clothes off and stood ready to change. “Of course I am. I can’t wait to see what Titan like.” With that I started to feel the breaking and shifting of my bones as I transformed into Saphira. After the change I stood there and shook out my fur. Walking out from behind my tree I was greeted with a sight that took my breath away.

  Standing in front of the was one of the most beautiful black wolves I have ever seen. Knowing that it was Titan, I found myself walking around him taking in the sight of him. Titan was a pure black wolf with a golden crown on his forehead. On his hip there was a lightning symbol in neon white and on his chest was a blood red heart. As I walked around him I could feel his eyes following me taking in my wolf’s form. I walked up to him and licked his snout and then nuzzled close to his neck. I felt someone trying to mind link me and I allowed myself to take down my block so they could.

“Angel you are one of the most beautiful she-wolves that I have ever seen.” Apollo says over our personal link. “And you apollo, I have never seen a black wolf as handsome as you are.” I answered him when I noticed that my brother and three other wolves were coming towards us.

“The wolf with the golden-brown fur with the sea foam green sword and forest green plant symbol is Lilo, that’s Bella’s wolf. The russet brown wolf is Ruby, that is Becca’s wolf. The blue roan looking wolf is Eveline, that is Kairi’s wolf,” Apollo told me as I looked at all of them. “oh ok that makes sense then. Well the white wolf standing by Lilo with the neon green sword on its ribs, the fire symbol on its hip and the midnight blue heart on his chest is my brother’s wolf Colton.” I told Apollo as I found him staring at Colton.

“ Come on you guys let’s run already. I can tell that my sis needs this run, so lets get hopping already.” Steel’s voice came over the link. We all nod and then we all turn and start to run. Looking around me at all the wolves who I have come to love I know now that I will always be safe no matter what.

I mean hey what could possibly go wrong now?
