Danciana had only the vaguest recollection of the succeeding hour. She couldn't keep still. She moved around the palace in a stupor, destroying Ashina's altar herself and giving orders to put things in order.
She took a few of her maids, along side Lupe to the royal stream for a swim.
They both laid down on the smooth white sand, legs crossed, sucking empty the coconut juice through the straw. They both exhaled, smiling.
"I am so excited!" Lupe said. "Finally, we get rid of that slave.. finally Prince Gonzalo can look in my way."
"Just keep trusting me.." Danciana sucked empty the coconut. Mia collects the empty coconut and replace with a full one.
"Absolutely, this is so refreshing." Lupe looked up, admiring the sky.
