Chapter 6Nikos I amble down Adrian’s street all the way to the end, where the asphalt meets the grass before the rocky beach. Walking home by the ocean all the way to the forest and Firetop Mountain is very much taking the pretty way, but I don’t mind the hike. My mind replays this evening, and I can’t get enough of the memories. I blame those mental images of Adrian for making me lose my way in the woods for the first time. It takes me over two hours to get home. If Adrian were magic, or even knew about magic, I’d send him a message tonight to make him know I’m still thinking about him.
