Chapter 18Adrian Mr. Patel summons me into his office the next morning before school. Apparently, there has been an influx of new enrolments over the last week. A grand total of five new students, one of them for my class. Most of them will start next term, but the girl for my class, Orla Marworyn, begins Monday next due to a troublesome bullying situation at her current school. “It’s rather unusual,” Mr. Patel says after having given me the student’s information, “but the parents would like to meet you today. I took the liberty of scheduling a meeting with them during second period. Your schedule says you’re free then. Your classroom alright?” I nod. My class has P.E. then, so the room will be empty.
