The next morning Alex got dressed and packed up her things then helped Rebecca finish with her and Nick"s things before loading both sets of bags into the truck. She wished she could have a few minutes alone with Matt before they had to go, but there wasn’t time and she knew it. Before long, they were all piled into the truck and got on their way. She knew they only had a few more minutes together, and all of them with lots of people around.
Matt pulled into the arrival and departure lane in front of their terminal, got out, and helped them unload all the luggage. Alex watched as he said goodbye to everyone before turning to face her. He stopped in front of her. So close she had to look up to see his face.
