CHAPTER 46: Pulled by the Bond
Selene slammed her door shut the moment she stepped into her room and the anger she had been holding in since the conversation with Zane instantly exploded inside her chest.
“What the hell is wrong with everyone today?” she muttered loudly.
She paced the small space with her hands on her waist and breathing fast. First Zane breaking into her room and then confessing he was in love with her like it was some sweet fairy tale and not a completely insane thing to do.
“I don’t need this,” she hissed. “Not right now.”
She walked to her bed and sat heavily, rubbing her face with both hands. She took a long breath… then another… but it didn’t help. If anything, her thoughts got louder.
