Those words were what Eva once hoped to hear from Ardi when she was his contractual wife. Yes, Eva really hoped those words would come out of Ardi's mouth, at least one of them. However, Eva's hopes were not fulfilled because they ended up divorcing as per the agreement.
Ardi didn't love her at all, which meant that during their marriage, Eva's love was one-sided.
So, what about now? Is Ardi seriously saying he wants Eva? This isn't just late. It sounds very insincere considering Ardi said it after they were intimate.
