Eva quickly snapped out of her silly thoughts. She was sure Ardi wouldn't be reckless enough to get her pregnant. Maybe he used the withdrawal method or perhaps had a supply of condoms and used one last night to prevent pregnancy, even though they had done it last night.
"Indeed, my ex-husband is not a reckless person…."
Therefore, what Eva needed to do now was to stay calm. She needed to calm down first. When Dika went home later, she promised to buy a morning-after pill at the pharmacy before it was too late.
Even if Ardi did use a condom, Eva would feel much more at ease if she took an emergency contraceptive pill just in case.
Now the problem was... when would her brother-in-law, Dika, go home? Surely, Dika wouldn't stay here forever, right? Eva couldn't possibly ask him to leave.
