TORHANA. I took the stairs two at a time with Elliot right behind me. We'd spent another hour with the enforcer in the cellar trying to break him. He still wasn't talking but his body was giving out. Another session or two and either he'd crack or he'd die. Either way we'd move on. "We should check on Tenna," Elliot said as we reached the main floor. "That's where I'm going." We headed down the hallway toward Rowan's room. I reached his door and pushed it open without knocking. Then I stopped in my tracks. Tenna was in bed with sheets pulled up to her waist.
