TENNA. Yelling woke me up. My eyes opened slowly and I found myself plastered against Torhana's chest with his arms wrapped around me. The room was still dim with early morning light barely making it through the curtains. The yelling came again and it was louder this time. A woman's voice sounded furious. I lifted my head and blinked while trying to clear the sleep fog from my brain. Torhana stirred beneath me. I mumbled, "What's that noise?" He groaned and his eyes cracked open. "I don't know." We both went still and listened. The yelling was getting closer and I could make out actual words now. Then I heard footsteps in the hallway, rapid and angry, like someone was stomping on purpose. Someone started pounding on the door. "Torhana! Open this door right now!" It was Lyssa.
