Chapter 2

I pulled up to the address that the GPS sent me and looked out. The club was nothing that I have ever seen before, it was big with bright dark red light decorating the outside. It was as if it wanted to be seen from miles away.

Looking outside of the car I saw a bunch of people waiting in line as if to get inside. Hell no, there's no way I'm gonna wait in that long ass line, Jade better have some sort of pass to get us in, because If not gonna leave.

I pulled up to the parking lot and grabbed my phone to call Jade. After a few rings, she picked up the call "Helloo" she said in a sing-song tone.

"b***h you better not be drunk already," I said shaking my head

"Nah girl, I'm just chilling. Where are you anyway?"

"In the parking lot, and let me tell you right now I'm not gonna wait in that line, I bet there are at least 100 people in that"

"Relax G the club is ours for tonight"

"You want me to come inside or you're gonna wait for me outside?"

"I'll wait for you outside"

"Okay, I'm coming," I said and hung up the call.

I went out of the car and pulled my purse out before locking the car and throwing my keys inside the purse.

I walked out of the parking lot and just when I made it in front of the club I saw Jade, Melissa, and Jason waving at me.

"Hey guys" I yelled waving back at them

"Happy birthdayyyy to youu," I sang hugging jade "thanks babe" she chuckled hugging me back.

I look at Jason and pulled him in for a hug "Hey beautiful I haven't seen you in mad long"

"Jason it's been 4 days," I said laughing at him

"I don't care, that's a long time for me" I looked at him and rolled my eyes laughing.

"Enough chatting let's go inside," Jade said in a funny robot voice pulling me beside her.

We walked past all those people in line to the security man. She showed him a card and he moved out of the way for us to get inside.

This club was very beautiful and neat, I was expecting people all over the floor and for it to be smelling all funky but surprisingly none of that was present. There were about 30 people in this massive club. Jade pulled me to sit with her at the bar counter. "I love this club Gigi, the drink is so good, and they even have food over there," she said pointing to the table full of food.

"The only reason why I got in this club is that my dad works with the owner and he gave me the pass for 40k for one night"

"Is it gonna open back later because I see a lot of people waiting outside"

"Nah they not getting in tonight," she said and laughed

I look around and recognize some of the people here. "Can we get 6 shots over here?" Jade said to the bartender guy. I looked up at the bartender only to see him already staring at me.

"Yes ma'am," he said and threw a wink my way

"Damn look at that fine specimen," Jade said nudging me with her elbow. I smiled and shook my head.

Even though I was familiar with almost everyone here, I can't help but feel so dense. Why am I always like this? I wanna be like every other 22-year-olds. Maybe tonight I should just let loose for a while.

I have all of my friends here with me. What could go wrong?

Jade handed me one shot and we clinked before she said "here's to my 23 birthday" she said and we gulped it down in one go. I scrunch my face at the burning sensation. I took a deep breath and exhaled.

We grabbed another one and she said "to our friendship" once again we gulped the burning liquid down and that was enough for me. How the hell can people take more than 2 of this stuff?

She chuckled looking at my scrunched face before she gulped down the rest of the shots.

"Let's head over there to the others," she said and grabbed my hand walking over to the couch. "Hi everyone!" they all answered and I hugged some of my friends before sitting down between Melissa and Jade.

"You trynna get drunk with us tonight G?" Melissa said grabbing a bottle and pouring herself. "I wanna let loose but not drunk."

"Being drunk is fun" she said and started drinking

"No my kind of drunk, remember last time?"

They all started laughing remembering when I got drunk on my 18th birthday. That night the disgusting toilet was my best friend, I had begged God to make me feel better and I would never do it again.

"Here just take 1 more, this one is strong so don't take too much," Jason said handing me a cup.

I looked at it before taking a small sip and surprisingly it tasted very good. I took 3 more sips and was about to gulp down the whole thing when Jade took it from me. "That's enough little rebel." She said giggling.

Micheal came and sat in front of me making some corny jokes causing all of us to start laughing. We kept on talking and making jokes, before I knew it my world was already starting to spin. I think I was getting drunk. I grabbed a cup and started drinking it.

"Hey that's mine" I looked up at the voice to see Micheal smiling and shaking his head at me. I smiled back at him. "Welp, it's ours now," I said gulping it down. Micheal was a nice guy but sometimes he just creeped me out. I remember when he confessed his feelings for me back in high school and I kindly turned him down but the guy just doesn't give up. One day while I was going home from a football game he pulled me under the bleachers and told me that he loved me again But of course, I told him I didn't feel the same. I guess he got irritated because he grabbed me and just started forcing his kisses on me. I tried to punch him but I ended up breaking my wrist in the process, I couldn't punch for anything.

Jason who was coming back to pick up his jacket heard me crying while Michael was apologizing and he beat the s**t out of Micheal before taking me to the nurse's office. When they called my mom I didn't know what to tell her because I knew she was going to press charges against Michael and I didn't want that so I told her I fell off the bleaches while trying to jump down.

Ever since then I was never left alone with Michael again. I forgave Michael but I'll never be comfortable around him like when we were kids.

"Gigi let's go dance" I look up to see a blurry form of what I can make out as Jade and Melissa standing. I got up and our song 2 AM started playing. "Whoaaa I-I-I want it girl! said, it's 2 AM! I want it girl!" we all started singing and dancing against each other. I was so lost in the song while dancing and singing that I didn't notice someone staring at me. But soon I stopped when the stare was burning holes into my body.

While still dancing and stumbling I moved back a little and looked up to see a balcony, just then I noticed a blurry figure leaning against the balcony and it looks like he was staring down at me. I was staring back at the figure trying to make out what he looks like.

I moved my hands up from my waist up to my head and moved my waist sensually to the beat of the song. I looked down to see that he was gripping a drink in his hand. Who is this person? And why is he the only one up there on the balcony? I guess I was too drunk out of my head that I ended up stumbling back into someone. "Sorry," I said and when I turned around I was met with Michael.

"Hey, baby girl. What's going on?" he said and put his hands around my waist, holding me up against him.

"Micheal" I whimpered feeling my bladder about to burst "can you please let go of me, I have to use the bathroom," I said and looked into his eyes. "All right but when you come back, I'm getting a dance," he said and let go. I passed him and quickly glanced up at the balcony again only to see that the man was gone. I let out a shaky breath glad that he was not there staring at me anymore, I hate being stared at.

I looked around for the bathroom and I couldn't find it. Damn, I was too dizzy for my liking.

"Hey, Jade where's the bathroom?"

"Oh yeah actually the one down here isn't flushing so you can take those stairs and use the one up there" she pointed towards a hallway that leads to the stairs. "Do you want me to come with you, babe?"

"No it's fine, I got it" I assured her and she smiled at me. "All right"

I started walking towards the hallway and up the stairs. Stumbling at every step I take. God, I just wanna sit down and pee on the floor. I can't hold it in anymore.

"Wow" I looked around to see that this part of the club was much more beautiful and gigantic than the one downstairs. The lights were dimmed so it made it difficult for me to see the bathroom signs.

I looked around and saw this guy talking to a woman. "Excuse me do you know where I can find the bathroom?" The guy turns around and walked towards me, a little too close because I was able to make out his very dark blue eyes that lit up as he smiled brightly at me.

He low-key looks familiar but I don't know from where. He chuckled at me "yeah the bathroom is right over there sweetie" he pointed to a black door. "Ok thank you," I said and smiled at him.

"You're welcome," he said and kept smiling at me as I turned to leave.

I turned around and still see him staring and smiling at me"Ok weirdo," I said inside my head and ignored him.

I opened the door just to find another room. As I looked inside I found another door with the bathroom sign. I quickly went in and closed the door.

I sighed in relief after emptying my bladder, I swear if I had held it in for another second I probably would've pissed myself. I walked over to the sink and washed my hands with soap for at least 15 seconds then I used the napkin to wipe them.

I pulled out some lotion from my purse and lotioned my hands. If I don't do that then my hands are going to be very ashy later on.

I walked out and closed the bathroom door. As I was heading out I made a turn and pumped into this wall.

I lost my balance and was about to fall due to the force but I was saved by someone wrapping their hands around my waist and holding onto me. A gasp left my lips when I opened my eyes to find this guy with bright intense dark blue eyes staring down at me. I moved my eyes down to his sharp jawlines to his juicy pink lips. Then my eyes continued to travel down to his chest which was ripped with muscles, his muscles were bulging out of that white shirt he wore. My mouth went agape when my eyes traveled back to his dark blue eyes.

I felt my heart thumping against my chest when his expression drastically changed to something that I couldn't figure out.
