"Enough," Clancy raises his voice and Alexis closes her mouth, her eyes downcast. "You can apologize later. You'll both have plenty of time to get to know one another now that your courtship has officially started," he grins like a cat with a fresh kill, his grin wide and deadly.
"Courtship?" I shake my head. "I don't consent to this. I don't agree."
