"I'll go," she declares as she stops fighting him and lets her body sag. "But don't think I won't fight this...insult."
Slowly he releases her. I step away from the door giving her enough room to pass me while staying far enough away that she cannot grab me again. Rudy stands between us, shielding me as Alexis adjusts her suit. With her head held high, she saunters past.
