''Is the conference room ready? " asked Mr Johnson. " Yes sir, everything has been set according to your preference, '' replied the butler. '' He led the way into the conference room, where the tables and chairs had been neatly arranged.The water jugs were full and placed along with the glasses. Mr Johnson seemed very nervous. He was really anxious about today's meeting, even though everything looked okay he still had doubts in his head.

This proposal was very important, for the past years his company had been going into loss. At last, after so many tries he had finally found an opportunity to collaborate with the most powerful and richest company of the united states of America "Lawson Cooperation". This was the Johnson's last hope and if the deal did not go as expected, they would. have to shut down. Caleb Lawson led "Lawson Cooperation".

It was said that Mac Lawson, Caleb's father, loved his son so much that he wanted to hand over the company to him as soon as he completed his studies. However, Caleb refused saying that he wanted to achieve the ownership on his own. Caleb started working for the company at the age of 21. His hardwork was rewarded and the company started gaining more profits. Eventually Caleb became the president of "Lawson Cooperation".

Companies had to wait for months in order to get appointments with him. Any company, which collaborated with them started making more profits whereas all the other companies in the market would blacklist the companies that offended Caleb.

The time of the meeting drew near. The Johnson family members along with all the Board members and staff assembled in a line to welcome their visitors. The Johnson's family consisted of Pitt Johnson, his second wife Camilla, Olivier (daughter from his deceased wife) and daughter from his second marriage Ruby.

Olivier just like her name was beautiful and respectful. Whereas Ruby was a mean and greedy person. She appeared good in front of her father and showed her true colours behind his back. Ruby always caused trouble and Olivier had to take the blame for Ruby's mischief upon herself. Ruby was also one of the million girls that were crazy for Caleb's love. She was madly in love with his handsome face and even had pictures of him stuck on the walls of her bedroom. Unfortunately for her, Caleb never paid attention to her or any other girls for that matter.

Camilla Johnson, who was Olivier's stepmom loved her own daughter more. There was no doubt that Ruby took after her mother. Both the mother and daughter were unkind and greedy people. They kept on spending the company's money on their fashion wardrobe not even caring that they were going bankrupt. According to them, it was Olivier and her father's job to make money and their job was to only spend their income
