ROXIE  What a jackass. Bex growled in my head in agreement. I was pissed at Alexander. I can’t believe that he made me stay behind. I was fit enough to fight. I wanted to be there for the pack members. “Are you okay, Luna?” called the driver. I glanced over at him, and his eyes were on me. I sighed. “Fine,” I murmured. I skim the stones with my foot as I look down at the ground. “Mate wanted to make sure we were rested,” said Bex, which made me look back at her. “You can’t be serious,” I said. “You agree with what he did. I mean, we both feel better. We are supposed to be Alpha and Luna; we should be there together.” Bex c****d her head to the side but let out a low whine. “I do think it was a good move,” she muttered. “But he didn’t have to be a jackass about it.” I frown
