After three months, the search for the gold ended.
The fortune hunters had used every tool, trick and hunch in their arsenal to find it, and finally concluded that it either wasn’t there or so well-hidden that nobody would ever find it. Rebecca had finally shared the parchment map, which they briefly thought would provide the necessary clue, but they finally concluded that the markings on the paper lacked any meaningful reference points and wasn’t helpful at all.
