Author’s Notes
My faithful readers – both of them – will hopefully recognize and remember portions of The Eno Club as a short story I wrote several years ago called “The Forest,” which appeared in my short story collection “Vanessa.” “The Forest” was always intended to be a longer and more involved story, but I never figured it out until it became a part of this novel. Perhaps I still haven’t, but it made sense to me, and I hope to you as well.
Also, The Eno Club is a novel. It is not historical fiction. It is complete fiction. No time was spent on research, and I had fun fabricating absolutely everything.
