Calista  I looked up from my desk just as Aerion approached, looking so calm it was almost annoying. He held my coffee cup in one hand and my favorite bun in the other, and something warm and jittery stirred in me. It was ridiculous. Now that I thought about it, my assumption that Marcus had gotten me the coffee the first time was laughable. Lisa’s voice from the other day echoed in my mind. “Either you jump his bones, or I get involved. The tension is suffocating.” I had laughed it off, but her words had not left me, making it harder to ignore the little thrill that filled me whenever he was around.
