Darla and Ben had let their wolves take over. They had chased and played like puppies until they decided it was time to be intimate in that form. Darla and Ben were happy that their wolves loved each other the same way they did. It was rare, but it did happen on occasion that the humans would adore each other, and the wolves would despise their mate or vice versa.
When the pair had tired themselves, they loped to their favorite rock outcropping. It overlooked the river flowing through the valley and gave a magnificent view of the mountains. Ben and Darla cuddled together and rested for a short time before she stood up and stretched.
