Chapter Six

1194 Words
Viktorija didn’t have time to think about what Emilek told Dedrick, she had two people following her set of clones. The illusion seal that Azuloas had given her had worked, even she couldn’t tell where they had gone, if it wasn’t for the fact that she was a sensor, but neither of their would-be tag-a-longs were. Jumping down into a large clearing, she quickly placed her drainage and paralysing seals around the clearing. Jumping up into the nearest tree branch, they shouldn’t know her seals since she used mostly Kazlauskas seals. “So, the Twins du désert had a master,” she said as the two were trapped in the middle of her seals, her paralysing seal was already on them, so she could jump into the area without being affected by it. Their chakra would be going into the card seals that Aldona had given her, her cousin had given them to her to keep her safe. All of them were basics seals, so, she knew that she wouldn’t be finding any Vitkus seals in the stack. “Twins du désert never worked for me,” the man growled at her, she blinked as she looked at his dark skin and almost pinched herself. Viktorija had seen one other person with a similar skin tone and colour. Ameenah! How could she had forgotten about Ameenah! She had told her about a cousin that had to flee because he was going to be killed otherwise, while they overlooked her because of her gender. “I’m not going to kill you; maybe,” Viktorija told them, putting her hands behind her back as she walked around them. She knew that he would be able to kill her; if she hadn’t resorted to trickery and she knew that would be the reason she won most of her battles. “I have one question.” “What is it?” he growled a young male sitting next to him looking at her with dark amber eyes, something she had never seen before. He had a bloodline, but what it was, Viktorija didn’t know from just looking at him. His chakra would tell her if it was elemental bloodline, ah, it was. A scorch bloodline, a bloodline that could burn flesh off bones. It would be a shame if she had to kill him, for Ameenah and her little revel group in Kumha Village. She had heard rumours of the holder of the Boar of Gluttony. Heard rumours of the Sin’s sudden change in sanity, that he was blood thirsty and killed anything that he feared would threaten his rule. “Are you after the bridge builder?” she asked him as she walked in front of the two. “And if I plan to?” he asked them. “Then I’ll be forced to kill you and collect your bounty,” she told him tipping her head and narrowed her eyes. “Leaving you wondering what happened in Ahnia after you left.” “Do you know how I am?” he asked her. “I’ve only used two of the strongest seals I know for shits and giggles.” Viktorija knew that she might have overdoing it, but Xavierra had always told her; that overkill was the best way not to be killed by someone who was stronger than you are. “Tanishia, demon of the plains and heartbreaker of the high mountain. However, your luck might have just ran out. Let me tell you, no one sees the snake’s fangs coming.” “Then why haven’t you?” Tanisha asked her. “Curiosity, I’ve read your profile. Ameenah told me about you,” Viktorija admitted, Ameenah helped her more then she was willing to admit; even to herself at times. She owed her a debt, the few that she collected over the years. She had promised to help Ameenah and her followers in her rebellion in any she could. “They’ve gotten cocky you know. I doubt you’d just leave your own home, leave your family in the hands of a madman. Unless something happened.” “And you know Ameenah?” “Ran into her a few months ago, but I don’t know your friends name?” “Adopted son,” the younger male corrected, he looked like he was eighteen years old. “Zaire.” “What do you want brat?” Tanisha asked her. “I’m Viktorija, thanks for asking,” Viktorija told him. Zaire nodded his head, while Tanisha just stared at her. Viktorija rolling her eyes, before sighing and hoping that no one found out that she had done this. Tau might send someone after her, which was the reason she didn’t give her last name. “Ameenah needs your help, the rebellion needs your help,” she told them. “The rebellion?” Zaire asked her. “If you want to free your people and your village, I would suggest you go to her,” Viktorija told them as Zaire looked at her with wide eyes. He would have lost his parents to Tau’s bloodbath, the elimination of anyone with a bloodline. “She’s hiding in an area at the top of Labia, if you want to find her, if not. Then both your heads are mine, can’t risk Ameenah’s group.” “Thought the rebellion was over,” Tanisha told her. “Then you doubted your cousin and her will,” Viktorija told him with a growing grin. “Tau overlooked her because of her gender, but you’ll find, that when that happens. It will get used against him; ever mistake he’s made will be used against him.” “I’ll go,” Zaire told her. “Like hell I’ll let my son go without me,” Tanisha told her. “That’s good to know, isn’t it? Ameenah,” Viktorija sang as the woman jumped into the clearing, her hair tightly braided against her head. “You’ve come to collect your prize.” “And to make sure my hunter doesn’t get killed,” Ameenah teased. “And here I thought I was a mere seeker,” Viktorija shot back. “Undo the seals,” Ameenah told her, Viktorija rolled her eyes before moving towards the side of the clearing her seals started. Putting her foot down, allowing the ink to go back into her ankle and unlocked Zaire and Tanisha, both falling onto the ground in exhausted heaps. “They’re your problem now,” Viktorija told her before leaving, she had bandits to take care of and annoying morons to avoid. And she was sure she’d find a camp of bandits to take her anger out on, Dedrick and Valdemarr did trade in expensive things; such as rare spices and meads.
