Viktorija looked at Launce and Montgomery; Aldona, Azuloas and Jakoba were waiting with Justus as they met the remaining Atspoguļo Member in Nestanha Village. She didn’t know who was more nervous; her or Montgomery. Launce seemed to be treating this; as he treated everything since she had met him. With disinterest. “Where is she?” Ismay hissed as she looked around, Viktorija sighed as she heard her personal banshee. Emilek had told them to meet in Academy’s waiting area; but it would seem that Ismay had forgotten to them were to meet inside and not outside. “She should be here by now. What is she doing, painting her nails? Trying to look pretty? Huh! Fat chance of that, she’s like a snake in a dress.” “If only she knew,” Montgomery whispered to her. Viktorija just rolled her eyes, Ismay didn’t know she was the holder of the Snake of Envy. Etienne only looked at her, he was excited to be fighting stronger opponents. He knew students still in the Academy that would give him more of challenge then Ismay did. Viktorija had been a surprise the first time he had sparred outside of the Academy. It had given him such a thrill; the only time she could join them for a mission was that boring escort mission and half the time she was scouting ahead. Ismay was ready to scream at the top of her lungs, when she felt something hit her in the back of the head. Viktorija had thrown a small stone at the back of her head; when Ismay turned away she spotted a pair of familiar set of violet eyes. “I know and Etienne knows that you’re weak, but please, do shut it. You’re making yourself look worse.” “Where were you,” Ismay demanded. “Waiting here,” Viktorija told her. “She’s been waiting for hours,” Montgomery told her. Launce looked at her with wide eyes, before they narrowed. “Etienne, I’m Montgomery.” “Launce,” Launce told him. “Hello cousin, Mama told me about Aunt Antoinette’s letters.” “While we’re here, we should spend some time together,” Montgomery suggested. “Train, show you the Atspoguļo Clan fighting style.” “We should,” Etienne agreed. “We should get going,” Viktorija suggested raising an eyebrow before Ismay could say anything to Montgomery or Launce. “Jakoba, Azuloas and Aldona will be waiting for you two.” “You’re the one who was late!” Ismay hissed at her, Launce raising an eyebrow at her. “If she’s late, then we’re late,” Launce told her, Ismay going red as he glared at her. Montgomery following Launce as they went towards were their team was waiting for them, Viktorija just looked at Ismay. “You really are sad,” Viktorija told her. “Stay away from my cousins,” Etienne told Ismay. “Emilek will be waiting for us,” Viktoria told them, as Ismay sighed as she closed her eyes while she pinched her nose. When she opened her eyes, Viktorija and Etienne were walking away from her without looking back. Ismay didn’t want to work with Viktorija, she never did. She refused to work with her during Academy projects, in fact, Ismay was sure that Viktorija did most of the group protects by herself or with one of the clan kids. So really, when she thought about it, Viktorija was the problem. She was Etienne’s future wife; his perfect partner and she’d be the perfect Mama to her future children. “Wait for me!” Ismay called to her future husband. Viktorija just glared at her before continuing, grabbing her arm and running up the side of the building. Ismay opening her mouth, before wrapping her arms and legs around Viktorija’s torso and trying not to fall, Etienne quickly following her. “Viktorija, Etienne,” Emilek greeted before looking over Viktorija’s shoulder. “Ismay, are you okay?” “She’ll be fine,” Viktorija told him while dropping her on the ground. “She’s just useless,” Etienne admitted, glaring at her. It was bad enough she asked him out and only cared about his name, now, she might annoy his extended family and that just rubbed him the wrong way. “Good that you’re arrived together,” Emilek told them, raising an eyebrow as he looked at Ismay and then Viktorija and Etienne. “And now you’re on your own. Be glad that this isn’t in Sashan; they’re more about teamwork then most villages are.” “We’d have failed first thing,” Viktorija admitted, Etienne nodded his head as he glared at Ismay as she looked at them with a slightly green face. “But that’s not the case.” “Good luck,” Emilek told them.
