December's Point of View

School today is going to be so long, I have a test basically in every class. The only class that isn't having a test in is Musical Theater. Even the gym class has a test today, I'm not worried about that. It's over self-defense, and having my mother as a mother, self-defense is like second nature. My fear though is that I might not be as fast and strong as the other Alphas. I am the only Alpha daughter. All the other Alphas have older sons so there is no need to have their daughters take their place.

Me being an Alpha's kid even though I haven't shifted yet, still categorizes me as an Alpha and I have to be with all the boys who have so much testosterone it is unreal. Coal is gonna make sure I am his partner, and so the other guys aren't going to be kind. I just hate today.

I put on some workout clothes; they don't have a uniform for gym here. Well they kind of do but we don't have to wear a specific clothing item. The girls wear spandex on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and athletic shorts on Tuesdays and Thursdays because those are the days, we actually spar with each other and they don't want cheeks hanging out while we are on the ground.

As I walked out, Coal was waiting for me with his foot on the wall and his phone up. I didn't realize it but he was taking pictures of me. It is too late he just started war with me.

"You don't know what you just did to yourself mister. You will pay for those pictures."

"I don't think so princess, but you can try on the mats today."

"Coal, I'm so scared I don't know how I am supposed to compete with you guys, I mean you all are so big and strong and then there's me small and weak."

"Wait princess are your serious right now?" His face is so concerned it's priceless.

"Yea I am just worried I am going to fail, and I make all A's nothing less. And it isn't fair because I am so much smaller than you and so much weaker."

"Well princess you could ask to be with the others, or I mean I could tell the guys to take it easier on you."

"You would do that for me?" He stood straighter and and he looked more tense.

"I would do anything for you, and I don't want you to ever ask me that again, okay?"

"Okay, I'm sorry."

This guy is too easy, I mean sure I am nervous about this test, but I get nervous about every test. I could care less about me being smaller than them, it's the technique not strength.

When we got to the gym hundreds of us were there. There was at least thirty Alphas. And then there is so many packs mate it's insane. The Betas got divided together, the Warriors, the Gammas, the Omegas, the Hunters and then everyone else.

"Alright you brats’ line it up!" That's Coach Honey. He's this huge guy whose muscles are the size of two of my heads. His chest is so large I don't know how you could see your toes. He is the cliché gym coach. The short tight shorts with the athletic white top. He isn't very nice, but you can go to him when you need him the most.

"Coach honey?" Bayleigh Barns, she is an Alpha's daughter and her older brother is Kent, the biggest player in school. He is worse than Coal.

"Yes Bayleigh?" He asked nonchalantly.

"Why is December with the Alpha's?"

"Well I don't see how that is any of your business, but she is because she's the oldest of her Alpha family."

"But she's a rogue and rogues don't belong with any of us not even the Omegas."

"Bayleigh that behavior will not be tolerated and since you think she doesn't belong why don't you show us how much she doesn't belong on the mat." I looked up from my daze.

"Uh no sir it's okay, she didn't hurt my feelings. She was just saying what she felt is right and you can't fault that."

"Thank you for your opinion Miss December but bullying will not be tolerated."

We all walked over to the mats, Bayleigh and I in the center. She looked at me with eyes full of hate and rage. I smiled at her but she just gave me that blank and hateful stare.

"Bayleigh listen, I don't want to fight."

"Well I do, so just accept your beating now."

"You're going to regret this Bayleigh."

We both got in our fighting positions and waited for the whistle.

When the whistle blew, she lunged straight at me. Her armature move would get her killed. Who just lunges at people? I moved to the side and waited for her fall. All that momentum she had would cause a rough fall. I waited for her again, I know she wants to attack me and isn't going to stop. She was a little smarter this time and didn't lunge, she went with a round house kick and I dodged it, she threw punches left and right and I dodged left and right.

"Why aren't you fighting back?" She looked angry. I saw her wolf at bay and knew I better watch out. She shifted into a large blonde wolf, all Alpha daughters have blonde wolves, I don't know if mine will be since my real parents weren't Alphas. I really am not that strong or fast, mom made that up though with my self-defense and knowing how to fight.

"I told you, I don't want to fight you Bayleigh. I'm begging you to not do this. Bayleigh I could seriously hurt you."

She growled and jumped at me. My question is why isn't anyone doing anything? They are just watching me with this huge wolf that wants my blood. But she won't let down, so I guess it's time I set her and everyone else straight. Right as she went to attack me I turned to the side and grabbed her hind legs, flipped her over on her back. Then I very quickly jumped on her belly and grabbed her throat, making her have to submit.

Everyone stood there in awe. I smiled at them, but no one smiled back they just looked down at me like I had ten heads and another one was growing. I stood up wiped my hands and turned to my smiling gym coach. He and my mom went way back, apparently, he used to be a rogue but because he came here, he lost that title and is a part of the school.

"Miss Bayleigh, please shift out of your wolf. Miss December please go get some water and stand back with the Alphas."

Bayleigh growled and walked away from us, I don't think that Blondie is going to like me this much this year. She already hated me and I didn't even know her. I can't imagine the hate now that I just humiliated her in front of the whole school.

"Hey little princess." Coal wrapped his arms around me, I turned up to him and wiggled out of his arms.

"Coal! You can't just grab me, people are staring."

After that the entire class went by in a breeze, I was beating every one of those Alphas. I wasn't allowed to spar Coal because coach saw that we were mates and mates aren't allowed to spar so we don't have to worry about fights and problems within the relationship.
