They took it as a challenge and then Saze brought out a new deck of cards, this one familiar and already my fingers tingled with upcoming victory. I wasn’t proud of it but I had won almost everyone back at college against the frat boys and in exchange I’ll get the stuff they were using and some. But right now the only high I was seeking was to show them that I was unbeatable. It was oddly funny how Antonio had managed to silence every dark thought inside me and all my mind now could think of was him.
And as we started to play and like I knew, I won. Again and again. And again. Was I very honest, though? No, I cheated. I knew how to without getting caught.
