Chapter 7Zeeb went back to the station after they’d boarded the window in Jeremiah’s hallway. He was the only one there, which didn’t surprise him at all. After six, any phone calls were directed to the station in Alderdon. They had staff around the clock. He dusted the note for prints. There was a partial one, but he didn’t have much hope of finding a match. He filed it and sent it off to be analyzed. Half an hour later, his phone rang.
