We’d spent the night at the motel. It was mostly uneventful. We’d all grabbed dinner at the diner across the road and went to bed when we got back. Everyone was tired from the incredibly long day and just wanted to get some sleep. Noa had chosen to sleep next to me, so Adriel and Beau had to share the other bed. Noa and I laughed as they struggled for room to stretch out, they were both way too big to be forced into a queen size bed together. Beau had even begged one of us to switch him, but Noa just smiled and shook her head.
