What the hell was happening? We went from zero to one hundred in the blink of an eye. The ground was shaking and small cracks were zigzagging everywhere, the once sunny sky had dark clouds rolling in from every direction and the winds were whipping wildly.
“Noa! Noa wait, please!” I pleaded with her as I tried to gain my footing. Avery was reaching out toward me, he had quickly pulled a gun out of the holster attached to his leg. He was stumbling around just as bad as I was, but he yelled at the guards “now!”
All hell broke loose. Bullets were whizzing by me as I dove down trying to avoid being hit, a bullet grazed my right shoulder. The instinct to fly away was so strong, but I couldn’t leave my mates behind.
