I’d been summoned to appear before the elders of the council. They were unhappy with my recent attack on The Trinity. The council had killed its own members in the past for much less than what I had done. Hearings of this nature were done at the council's headquarters away from Cullom.
I'd been here a few times throughout my years of service. The building was located in downtown Los Angeles, it looked like an ordinary office building from the outside. But the elevator could access a lower level that was home to the council. I stood before a long row of elders seated at a table.
