This had been the longest two months of my life. And that was really saying something, considering I had been locked up in Cullom for over two years.
I’d tried my best to stay busy, in the beginning it had been a lot easier to distract myself by taking care of everyone. Terra and Alora had needed plenty of help at first. Even though Azucena had a lot of adjusting to do herself, she was still helpful when it came to looking after everyone.
We’d all taken to calling her Zu because Terra said it so often, and her full name was kinda a mouth full anyway. Zu understood some of what Alora had endured better than anybody. She was so patient helping her eat everyday, or sitting with her outside to get some sun. I’d even catch her reading to her sometimes.
