Dario's POV
As I watched Aubrey walk away with Lucas, I couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment. I had been enjoying our conversation, and I had been hoping to spend more time with her.
But as I turned back to the party, I was confronted with Sophia's angry face. "What's going on, Dario?" she demanded, her voice low and menacing. "Why are you spending so much time with her?"
I sighed, feeling a sense of frustration. "Sophia, we've been over this. I'm just being polite to Aubrey. That's all."
But Sophia's eyes narrowed. "I don't believe you," she spat. "You're still in love with her, aren't you?"
I hesitated, unsure of how to respond. But before I could say anything, Sophia's face twisted with anger. "You're making a big mistake, Dario," she hissed. "A big mistake."
