Aubrey's POV
I stood behind Lucas, trying to avoid eye contact with Dario. I could feel his eyes on me, but I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of thinking I was interested in whatever was going on.
"Great, so it's settled then," Lucas said, his voice firm. "We're all going on this trip together."
I nodded, trying to sound enthusiastic. "Yes, it'll be fun. We can make it a team-building exercise."
Dario gave me a narrow gaze, as if trying to read my expression to see if I was interested in traveling with Sophia.
I rolled my eyes at him, thinking that Sophia wouldn't be a problem as long as he kept her under control.
