Francis had a fear. This woman's identity was unknown to him. He was clueless about her desires. Kimberly caught his eye. Her expression was bewildered.
Into the living room the woman entered. She settled herself on the sofa. Kimberly and Francis went after her. Francis became nervous. He was unaware of the situation.
She turned to Francis. Her smile spread across her face. After saying, "I know what happened," The shiver went through Francis's body. By what means did she mean?
Further, "I know where you were," she added. Francis was afraid. How was she aware?
Her words, "I know what you did," Francis was on the verge of vomiting. What was it she knew?
Kimberly gave Francis a look. She appeared perplexed. She questioned, "What is going on?" Francis gave a headshake. He was unaware.
The woman got to her feet. She approached Francis. She gave him a direct glance. She questioned, "You don't remember, do you?" Francis gave a headshake. He had no idea what she was discussing.
The woman grinned. She said, "I can help you," A flicker of hope came to Francis. This woman might be able to assist him.
Then he turned to Kimberly. She looked frightened. It seems like she didn't trust this woman. Francis pondered. What was this?
The woman looked across at Kimberly. "You don't trust me, do you?" she inquired. Kimberly shook her head. "I don't know you," she remarked.
The woman grinned. "That's fair," she stated. "But I assure you, I am here to help." Francis wished to accept her credibility. He desired to be trusted.
However, there was something off about her. Francis was unable to pinpoint the exact cause. But he was aware that he needed to exercise caution.
Kimberly stood up. "I think we should hear her out," she said. Francis nodded. He agreed.
The woman smiled. "Thank you," she said. "I will tell you everything." Francis felt a sense of trepidation. What was he about to hear?
The woman inhaled deeply. Her words, "It starts with a night," "A night that you don't remember." A shiver went down Francis's back. What took place that evening?
She went on. Her words, "You were at a bar," "You were drinking." Francis was uncomfortable. The direction of this didn't appeal to him.
The woman kept talking. "You met someone," she said. "Someone who would change everything." Francis felt like he was going to throw up. What did she mean?
The doorbell rang again as the woman was prepared to tell the truth. Francis was relieved. Perhaps this would break up the woman's tale.
But then he looked at Kimberly. She looked scared. She looked like she knew something. Francis felt a sense of dread. What was going on?
Kimberly got up to answer the door. Francis waited anxiously. Who was it this time?
Francis was waiting tensely. He had no idea who was at the entrance. He was unsure of what might occur. Door opened by Kimberly. She exhaled sharply.
"Who is it?" Francis asked. Kimberly didn't answer. She just stood there. Francis got up. He walked to the door. He looked out.
It was a man. He was tall. He was handsome. He smiled at Francis. Francis felt a sense of unease. Who was this man? What did he want?
The man walked in. He looked around. He saw the woman. He smiled. "Hello," he said. The woman smiled back. "Hello," she replied.
Francis felt confused. What was going on? Who were these people? Kimberly looked scared. She looked like she knew something. Francis felt a sense of dread.
He approached Francis. He grinned. "I'm here to help," he declared. Francis was unsure about what to say. He had no idea what to do.
The woman arose. Her smile came out. "I think we should all sit down," she said. Francis gave a nudge. Indeed, he concurred.
Each of them took a seat. And the man began to speak. "Francis, you don't remember what happened, do you?" he inquired. Francis shook his head. No, he was unaware.
The man smiled. "That's okay," he concluded. "We're here to help you remember." Francis was optimistic. These people may be able to help him.
But then he looked at Kimberly. She looked scared. She looked like she didn't trust these people. Francis felt unsure. What was going on?
The woman began to speak. "You were at a bar, Francis," she added. "You were drinking." Francis didn't feel good. The direction this was taking didn't sit well with him.
I was interrupted by the man. "We don't need to go into details," it was his reply. "But we need to tell you something." Francis nudged everyone. He heard.
The woman continued. "Francis, you met someone that night," she said. "Someone who would change everything." Francis felt like he was going to throw up. What did she mean?
The man stood up. "We should go," he said. Francis nodded. He agreed.
As they were leaving, the woman turned to Francis. "Remember, Francis," she said. "The truth is not always easy to hear." Francis nodded. He understood.
The man and woman left. Francis was left alone with Kimberly. He looked at her. She looked scared.
"What's going on?" "Why?" Francis inquired. Kimberly gave a headshake. "I don't know," she said.
Francis felt a sense of dread. What was happening? Who were those people? And what did they want?
Kimberly and Francis were sitting there when the doorbell rang once more. Francis stood up to respond to it. But he was taken aback when he opened the door.
A policeman was involved. He appeared serious. "Francis, we need to talk," he remarked. Francis was frightened. What was the police's desire?
And as Francis stood there, frozen in fear, the officer's next words changed everything. "Francis, you're under arrest."
It seemed to Francis that everything was falling apart. Was he detained? What action did he take? Kimberly caught his eye. She appeared surprised. She appeared to be afraid.
Francis was placed in handcuffs by the officer. He gave him his rights. It seemed to Francis that he was dreaming. There is no way this is possible.
Kimberly broke down. She questioned, "What's going on?" The cop turned to face her. "Ma'am, I need to take Francis in," he stated. Nodding, Kimberly said. She appeared to be afraid.
Francis turned Kimberly's head. He felt awful. He was unaware of the situation. He was unsure of what he had done. He wished to express his love for Kimberly to her. He was unable to, however.
The police officer pulled Francis away. Francis looked back at Kimberly. She was crying. She looked scared. Francis felt a pang in his heart. He wanted to go back to her.
As Francis was being pulled away, he saw the woman and man from earlier. They were standing outside. They were smiling. Francis felt a sense of dread. What did they have to do with this?
The police officer put Francis in the police car. Francis looked out the window. He saw Kimberly. She was crying. She was running towards the police car.
"Kimberly!" "Yeah!" Francis bellowed. However, the police car departed. Then Francis was left alone. He was unaware of what was taking place. He had no idea what he had done.
The police station was reached by the police vehicle. Francis was removed. He was placed in a cell. Francis thought that everything was falling apart. He was unaware of what was taking place.
Francis sensed footsteps while he sat in his cell. His eyes ascended. That was the cop. "Francis, we need to talk," he remarked. Francis gave a nudge. He was set.
However, Francis heard a loud noise just as the policeman was going to say something. It sounded like a gunshot. Francis was filled with fear. What had transpired?
