Chapter 3Detective Inspector Guy Caywood had been looking forward to his visit to the Highgate General to see Samuel Levenson. The rumour mill hinted that Levenson was on his way out, from lung cancer, and only in his early 50s. After all the years Caywood had pursued Levenson he now finally has to succumb to an illness. Levenson had been in and out of jail in the early years for armed robbery mostly, with some GBH and at least one murder charge to his name.
