Chapter 24Sarony awoke to a consistent throbbing in the back of his skull. Placing his hand there, he realised that his head felt sore but he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw there was no blood. He attempted to recollect whatever it was that had knocked him senseless. The object had been heavy but no real damage had been done. Injury was something that scarcely concerned him but a heavy object dashed against his head was definitely enough to make it hurt.
