FIRST IMPRESSIONS

CHAPTER TWO

Here's a story about first impressions:

It was a crisp autumn morning when Emily first laid eyes on him. She was rushing to her psychology class, lost in thought, when she collided with a tall, handsome stranger.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" Emily exclaimed, as they both bent down to pick up the scattered books.

The stranger smiled warmly and handed Emily her psychology textbook. "No worries, I'm just glad I could break your fall," he teased.

Emily's cheeks flushed as she took in the stranger's chiseled features and piercing blue eyes. She felt a spark of attraction, but quickly pushed it aside.

"I'm Emily," she said, extending her hand.

"Ryan," the stranger replied, his handshake firm but gentle.

As they parted ways, Emily couldn't help but notice the way Ryan's eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled. She felt a flutter in her chest, and suddenly, her mundane morning had become much more interesting.

Throughout the day, Emily found herself wondering about Ryan. What was his story? What made him tick?

When she saw him again in the cafeteria, Emily's heart skipped a beat. Ryan caught her eye and smiled, and Emily felt like she was melting.

As they struck up a conversation, Emily discovered that Ryan was charming, witty, and kind. They talked about everything from their favorite books to their childhood memories.

Emily was smitten. She couldn't believe the strong connection she felt with someone she'd just met.

As the day drew to a close, Ryan walked Emily to her car. "Would you like to grab coffee with me sometime?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with hope.

Emily's heart soared. "I'd love to," she replied, smiling up at him.

Ryan grinned, and they shared a sweet kiss under the stars.

Emily realized that sometimes, first impressions can be deceiving. But in Ryan's case, his charming smile and kind eyes had been a true reflection of his beautiful soul.
