The unexpected truth

Chapter 9: Last but not least

The house was full of energy as everyone talked, laughed and mingled. Walter pulled Katie to the side to have a one on one talk with her.

"Katie, why are you doing this? Why are you here? Why am I here?"

Walter took Katie's hand and continued talking to her.

" When I said it was time for you to make a change, I didn't mean this. Katie, you know how much you mean to me, and I care about you so much. I don't know if I'm gonna handle this without knocking the first guy who puts his hands on you right in his mouth."

Walter finished his words and kissed Katie on the cheek as he walked away.

He then hollard,

" I don't know about the rest or you, but I'm done with this sissy ass champaign. Let's see if the fridge has some beers."

Katie walked towards the window and stared out it. In the shadows, Andrew watched her. He got this feeling he should end production for the night, but he heard the crew say,

"Last time,"

so the doorbell would ring for a surprise entrance.

The crew yelled into the intercom,

" A surprise entrance house guests."

As everyone gathered around the large living room one again. The doorbell chimed, and as it opened, Walter and Dave stood up and were shocked to see Katie's best friend Mary walk into the door.

"Hey Bitches, who thinks they deserve my bestfriend. "

Mary shouted as Katie ran up to her with a sigh of relief.

"Are you here, here, or are you just visiting."

Katie asked.

"Nope, I'm just a guest helping my friend find love!"

Mary said.

Everyone greeted Mary, and a few of the guys couldn't take their eyes off her. She was also a beautiful woman for sure, but she never thought of herself that way. As the group of stars met Mary, the doorbell chimed once more.

The last to arrive was the one household guest that would stir up trouble and cause some serious drama.

It was Damion, the only man Katie thought she ever truly loved but never could get it right in her head or her heart. Damion was a soldier, a retired fierghfighter, and a trained assassin. Katie couldn't believe her eyes, seeing him walk in the doors. His body was so luscious and inviting to Katie, and anytime he touched Katie, he sent chills down her spine. Just looking at him walk in, she got chills, thinking of all the times he lifted her up in the shower or took her to hotel rooms or on secret adventures.

Her name tattooed on his arm was gonna be the biggest complication of all, and the fact that they both had matching bracelet tattoos on their wrist. It represented Damions' service to his country, and it was engraved with the words "Survival." These words were used each time Damion and Katie were apart from him being overseas, or all the times they broke up and got back together.

Damion and Katie had invested a five year off and on relationship. He was very protective of her, and he fought guys all the time for just smiling at her. Why was he on the show. This went through Katie's mind over and over again, and she thought of it so heavily that she didn't realize Damion had been greeted by everyone but her.

She walked up to him very slowly cause she didn't know how he would react to her decision to come on the show. She went to embrace him with a hug, and he picked her up and carried her to the other room. Just as the crew was about to intervene on the intercom and tell Damion to head to the living room; Andrew stopped them and said..

" Follow them, "..

keep the cameras rolling. Jeff and Rose couldn't believe he was breaking his own rules once more, but they didn't argue with the boss.
