In contrast, Akila is quite different from Harry. Although he was not present for me in the past, he is here with me now. Akila offers me a corsage for the dance, featuring a red rose surrounded by smaller flowers. I fasten the corsage around my wrist and notice a matching single rose on the car's dashboard, intended for him.
Upon settling into the car, we proceed towards the school, maintaining a quiet demeanor throughout the journey. We arrive at the gymnasium area of the school and quickly locate a parking spot, as the lot begins to fill. He turns off the engine and approaches my side, opening the door for me with the grace of a true gentleman.
