Diana, who had been reading beside Merea, quickly set aside her book and swam towards the source of the voice. She found Varion waiting by the door, a warm smile lighting up his face.
"If you're coming on the expedition with me, you need to be prepared," he said, his eyes twinkling with anticipation, "ready?"
