Hiraya's POV
A huge amount of wolves stood in front of my both eyes. Over a hundred warriors stands firm and mighty in front of us.
So these are the Prime Moon Pack Warriors? Not bad.
They arrived this morning by the order of their alpha, Chester.
"All attention at me!" Chester shouted, making them stiffen at the very serious tone of their alpha.
Looking at Chester right now, the friendly man in him is nowhere to be found. He completely turned into a strict alpha by the moment his warriors arrived.
"Warriors, be pleased to meet the lovely and honorable queen of their race, Her Majesty, Queen Catalina." He turned his gaze at Ina, showing them whom he speaks about.
All of them bowed for a few seconds in the means of great respect.
Chester walked beside me, "And this is Her Highness, the Blood and Throne Princess."
They bowed at me, but then stared at me for awhile after that. Are they confused as to why I smell like a total normal human?
"Staring at a royalty for that long can be indicated as rude and disrespectful" All warriors immediately took their eyes off me when Catalina decided to show them a glimpse of her scary way of telling people not to stare. Great cous! You totally scared them.
Chester cleared his throat and turned his serious, deadly gaze back to his warriors. "As you all know, half of our Pack Warriors, along with my Beta, are not here in the reason of protecting our pack members left at home. Now, all of you who are chosen to be sent here, let me ask you a question..." He paused for a while before continuing, "Do any of you want to back out in participating in this war?" I was a little taken aback by his question. His question was genuine, it isn't sarcasm, nor a threat.
I wouldn't have thought that a deadly alpha like him would ask his warriors whether they wanted to join this war or not.
"No, Alpha!" And I am more shocked hearing their response.
"That's good. If you are brave enough to say that, make sure to be brave enough in facing death. Because joining a war is a question whether you survive or not, whether you manage to kill or get killed, whether you fight or cower. And I know nobody in my pack is a coward. Am I right?!"
"Yes, Alpha!" Good know that we'll fight alongside these brave wolves.

I found peace in the dark. Letting my ears and skin to be the guide through my mind regarding the surroundings. The singing birds, the dancing leaves and the calm voice of the traveling wind, also touching my skin smoothly. They are much clearer during a state of time while closing your eyes.
I'm at the middle of the forest. With no one around, leaning my back against a tree, sitting down on one of its roots.
Catalina is outside the kingdom right now, searching for allies around the world with Maira and three others.
I slowly opened my eyes when I heard the rustles of brunches in the forest. I wandered my eyes, by didn't move my body at all.
I closed my eyes again, but kept my senses on edge, especially my hearing. After a few seconds, another round of rustling of branches came. I sighed before speaking, "Just come out already. There's no point in making it longer"
I heard footsteps coming near me until it stopped in front of me. A wolf, not from the Prime Moon Pack, neither a rogue.
I opened my eyes to see his sneaker shoes. I lifted my head a bit to meet his eyes, while still sitting down the big root. He's about my age.
I just gave him a blank stare, "What do you want?"
For some uncertain reason, my instinct tells me that he's trustworthy.
"And what can a woman be doing here? Alone." He asked, ignoring my question.
He probably thought he's talking to a human. I still smell like one despite the awakening of my abilities.
I raised a brow, "What can a man be doing here? Alone." I questioned back, imitating the tone he used.
He chuckled, fun tracing his voice. He scratched the back of his neck before answering, "Exploring the forest?..." He trailed off, not so sure about his answer.
"Then take my answer the same as yours. The only difference is that I'm exploring the sensation that the forest gives off, not the actual forest itself" I said.
"Wouldn't you be scared of me? A total stranger approaching and talking to you out of nowhere" He grinned.
I stood up and cleaned the pants I am wearing. I met his eyes again, "If you had a bad intention, you could've killed me as I was closing my eyes, seated on the tree root" I replied.
Amusement flashed his eyes. He slowly nodded, taking in the words I spitted out.
"...Besides, I'll kill you before you even move an inch with your mind filled with thoughts of ways to harm me" I crossed my arms across my chest and intently looked at him.
He smirked, "You're not so sure about that, lady" He said, winking.
You look like an i***t.
"You walk on Earth that is filled with uncertainty. Better not be so sure about everything, neither" I smirked, slowly walking, moving forward face to face with the wolf.
Our eyes were ice cold, not giving in by the other.
"You don't know who I am, lady" His firm voice said.
I smirked wider, "And does that mean you know me?" I questioned sarcastically.
I frowned when he suddenly laughed. He's too weird, to be honest.
"I like your personality, Miss" He blurted out, shaking his head in amusement.
I finally gave him a small smile, "You're not too bad"
He extended his right arm, offering his hand, "I'm Jax by the way" He introduced himself.
I accepted his hand, "Hiraya"
"Aya, take control of Claire at the moment. I'll deal with that girl when I'm back" Catalina's voice echoed in my head. I frowned upon hearing what she said.
What is it this time, Claire?
"I have to go. My cousin needs my presence" I told Jax before running away in a normal human speed.
As I reached far enough, I quickly ran with the fastest speed I can to arrive at the kingdom.
As I have gotten to the kingdom gates, my sight exposed a girl who's gone very wild towards the allied wolves who're not even fighting her.
My eyes turned silver as my blood boiled and escalated to my head. My patience towards her has reached its end. I'm afraid I can no longer control my rage.
Claire...
