Chapter 3

1030 Words
MAY 2017   Michael 'pov This tour is weird. The musicians are good, the songs are great, really don't get me wrong. It's just... I mean Tyler and I being the only two boys it's kind of quiet in the dressing room before shows. Josh was the one always joking around and I'm normally just doing my own thing, but he made the decision to move on from the band and go to university. The last 2 shows Tyler knew to convince me to play some video game while we waited until the show started and today he succeeded again. I'm about to win another round of Mario Cart when the door suddenly bursts open. "The show begins in 10," Alyssa says before closing the door again. Tyler instantly ends the game. "Wait what are you doing?!" I exclaim. "Show starts in 10," Tyler repeats Alyssa. "Yea but I was about to win!" I say. "We won't ever know," Tyler says and I can just see on his face that he did that on purpose. The show goes by quickly. I really enjoy the songs we do this tour. Every song is something different and it's just really fun to do. I'm also glad we're doing a Q&A again. It's always funny to hear what kind of questions fans have. After the show and after everyone showered we go back to the tour bus to go to our next destination. We watch a movie since everybody is still too hyper from tour. Since Tyler and I are the only boys we gave up on discussing what kind of movie we're going to watch. Tyler and I won't even win if we're going to vote, so what's the point. Those chick flicks aren't actually the worst. You just have to see them as funny, not so serious films. When you do, you can actually enjoy them. Or at least, I can. Like normally Kristen falls asleep halfway during the film. By now it doesn't surprise anyone anymore, she basically always does. Kristen 's sleeping habit is something nobody will ever understand. The movie just reached its climax when Kristen suddenly starts to mumble. She's sitting on the other couch pretty far away from me, but I can still hear it. Kristen talking in her sleep is another thing that isn't special. She does it pretty often and we can always laugh at it since it never makes sense what she says. Justine and Ingrid are looking confused at Kristen though and then I realize that this is their first tour, which means they don't know about some typical things some cast members do. A few minutes later Kristen starts to laugh really loud. So loud that I almost start to wonder if she's really asleep, or that she's secretly awake. When she suddenly stops to suddenly start again a few seconds later, we all join her laughter. "You're supposed to laugh," Kristen mumbles not very clear a few seconds later. She's clearly having some weird dream and I wonder what it's about. "It's a joke," she says even less clear. Everyone stops laughing hoping Kristen is going to say more. We wait for a few minutes, but she doesn't. We end watching the movie before we all go to our bed. I carry Kristen to her bunk before going to my own. That we're only pretending to be together doesn't mean I can be a jerk whenever we don't have to pretend. When I wake up I'm excited for the day to start. Today we have another show but before that we'll have some time to explore the city. A few others are already awake too, but definitely not everyone. I find some yogurt in the fridge and sit down with it in the front lounge. I'm laughing with Isaiah at some videos. Something we probably shouldn't do while some others are still asleep. I'm convinced it wasn't a good idea when Kristen walks into the front lounge looking pretty mad. "Good morning," Tyler tries cheerful, but Kristen doesn't buy it. "Thanks for waking me up," she snaps, "that you don't need sleep doesn't mean others don't want any rest either." "Sorry," I apologize. She's completely right. Not that that allows her to snap at us like that but that's something else. "What's that?" Kristen suddenly asks pointing at my yogurt sounding pretty calm. "Yogurt," I answer bluntly. "My yogurt?" Kristen asks still sounding surprisingly calm. I look at the yogurt suddenly seeing that Kristen wrote her name on the lid. Crap. I should've realized that her calmness was only like calm before a storm. Just seconds later Kristen completely loses it. "WHAT THE HELL CAN YOU DO RIGHT?" she yells, "I WROTE MY NAME ON IT, ISN'T THAT CLEAR ENOUGH." "I didn't see it!" I snap back. "WELL YOU SHOULD'VE USED THOSE EYES YOU GOT," Kristen continues yelling, "YOU DIDN'T GET THEM FOR NOTHING." I literally see her madness in her eyes. Her face is read from anger and she's clenching her fists. "Do you have any idea how horribly annoying you are?" she asks mad. Her voice became kind of calm again and it's kind of scaring me, "you really get a bit more annoying every day and I don't know how to handle it. Could you please act normal for once and stay of my stuf?!" "Well sorry," I say annoyed trying to stay calm, "I didn't see it, if I would've seen it I obviously wouldn't have eaten it." "That better be true," she says mad, but less loud before turning around and walking away. It's the only thing about Kristen that really annoys me; sometimes she's so ridiculously unreasonable. Yes I shouldn't have eaten her yogurt, but I didn't do it on purpose and it surely doesn't give her the right to yell at me like that and to wake everybody up. "Wow," Tyler says softly like he's scared to talk. "You can say that again," I say before sighting. "What's up with her?" Tyler asks curious. "Please tell me if you know," I say and sigh another time before eating the last bit of the yogurt.
