Michael's pov
Kristen seems to hesitate a second before she steps closer to me and presses her lips on mine.
I don’t kiss back and before I can process what’s going on, Kristen has already pulled away and has run off to the bathroom. I hear the door lock and then it’s silent.
I’m so confused that I can’t move for multiple minutes. It was so sudden and so unexpected. I just hadn’t seen it coming at all.
What makes me confused, is that this kiss was so different from all the other kisses. Unlike those, the ones we do just for show, this one felt so desperate yet so full of love.
Gosh, it makes me feel horrible to even think of kissing her just for show, but it’s what we do and it’s what we’ve done for a long time. But now we’ve actually kissed and things felt so differen
