Flashback to last month before graduation

After a couple rough years our school band has managed to get into the international competition. Today was the final and tomorrow we'll hear if we won or not.
After that we'll go home. No matter if we win or lose, we're all an amazing experience richer.
Since tonight is the last night here in California, we're celebrating the success we've had so far with a bonfire on the beach. It's just the band and me, and it feels great. We can finally relax and I think we could all use it.
I've had a very rough year with tons of ups and downs. I never though I would be here right now. I had to sacrifice so much for all the practices,I lost many friends along the way and even though I still don't have many friends, people let me be me.
